The Dragon Priestess - you can use the poison you get from Thiollier on her when it's nighttime, and that will put her to sleep. Wait until day, maybe travel to the grace again?, and when she's awake you can talk to her and confess what you did. This will grant you her spirit ash (you lose the chance of getting her Priestess form if you do this, but she is a pretty solid spirit ash). Good video. I saw a theory video recently that posited that Marika was a shaman, and she was meant to be turned into one of those pots (apparently that's what happened to shaman in the land of shadow, because of their ability to merge things into one). She didn't get turned into a pot, instead waging a war against the hornsent. Probably getting this wrong, but it's an interesting theory, considering she def lived at Shaman Village. If this is true, it could nicely match up with your theory of Marika killing the hornsents' god/ruler. It also lines up with Leda's comment about the hornsent not being the good guys - just the losers in the war. I really love what Shadow of the Erdtree adds to the lore of the main game. Between (if only that), Euporia being a half-wilt golden weapon and the Spiraltree Seal being of "soiled amber", visualized as amber being half blackened... I am of the thought that the Realm of Shadows dictated the form, forces at play in, and founding concepts of the Lands Between, and this looks like it may well have the duality of Miquella and Malenia as a reflection.
It is also very interesting that, in their time in the Lands Between (supposedly, even before they knew the Realm of Shadow was a thing), Miquella has a spiral as the basis of symbology of their Haligtree, their seal and their needle, and were building it to house the outcast... And in the Lands of Shadow, the Hornsent (outcast by the Erdtree followers) are following a tree, and using incantations, that use the spiral as a central symbol. I was truly stuck on why and how Miquella discovered and reached the Realm of Shadows, but I think I have a speculation: That Malenia in some part, but mostly Miquella, as part of their Empyrean heritage, were bestowed the knowledge, instinctual or not, of the Spiral, the Realm of Shadows, and that if Miquella was to become a God, they had to reach the Gate of Divinity.

You can't kill him the normal way, you have to use the spirit spring and jump to throw heafty fire pots inside his burning "bowl". When you killed him, do not drop but search for a little pile of tombstones and you'll find your own sepulcral bird summon. 27:47 Great theory on the worshipped deity being the deity depicted in the DLC's trailer, the same deity Marika looted the Elden Ring from. It has golden strings/strands, the same strings/strands can be seen on Marika's hammer when she shattered the Elden Ring in the base game's trailer. I personally don't think the deity is the Gloam-Eyed Queen, because Enir-Ilim would have been filled with Godskin Apostles and Godskin Nobles instead of the Inquisitors and horned warriors. 30:14 Not 100% on this, but I'm pretty sure that the God Hunt and Merika removing the Rune of Death from the Elden Ring happened after her ascension in the region that now is the Land of Shadow. That demigod was likely the wielder of Euphoria and essentially became the precursor version of the Prince of Death... And that demigod also is likely the "surrogate" found in the two catacombs guarded by Death Knights.
Yes, it could definitely be a potential explanation for the surrogate's in the catacombs. I'm not so sure Godwyn was the first demigod to die now. Maybe just the first of Marika's order...

Other way around bud.
Thank you👍👍
Fun fact when I kill the knight at the church of consolation I didn’t get the hammer it was replaced by the black shield so in my first run I got shield but no hammer
the blood fiends are clearly worshiping the formless mother as does Mohg because they're doing the same spear gesture that he does.
I'm so done with hidden stuff.
“Impale and chill”
Doesn't the Frenzy Flame ending prove that Melina is the Gloam Eyed Queen?
@@anthonyroberts7486 I mean, that's an interpretation.
However, the Gloam Eyed Queen was also thought to be a contemporary (maybe sister) of Merika, whereas Melina all but confirms she's Merika's daughter (seemingly confirmed with some items found in SoE).
But that's the way Souls games are... They intentionally leave this stuff vague because theorycrafting is half the fun!
I’m on my first playthough of the game and I’ve beaten most of the bosses I’ve just got the waterfowl dance lady and maliketh and the ones after left so should I get the dlc after I beat the game or on ng+1 or rn
I don’t know what to do
Definitely Do the DLC before you go to NG+
Agreed. I actually waited to start Elden Ring until after the DLC was announced.
Almost done with it and prepping to go New Game +
is there a guide somewhere that shows what all the scripts do?
Can anyone explain why Miquellas arm is so huge in the cocoon but he's a tiny little kid? Or why Morgot and Godrick shrink when u beat them?
It’s the formless mother they worship they literally use the same incantations as mohg
Unbelievable what is missable in this DLC, i missed a whole area
wow, you just gonna throw shade at a magic princess warrior cuz she's into a dude who got sneks :D
If you like using mimic put the blessing of Marika on you tab and you're mimic will have a full heal.... although he migh be a dumbass and use it at the start of the battle...
what is that weapon he uses throughout the video?
do you know that if you buy elden ring, you can get free weapons called moonveil, its found in gael tunnel in calid
Do you know that you don't have to buy elden ring to play it?
@@somersaultinggiraffe1901 well i didnt buy elden ring so yea
