Just a little bit different thread...
    You can make it fit.
    Thank you Bryce!

I have a thread gage in the tap, and die set. I'm going to check if I can figure out something. I still haven't found the nut I dropped. Thank you Ed.

@@brycewiborg8095 at first, I was thinking it might be left-hand thread, but it seems like you’re getting it on there pretty good. It just doesn’t go all the way!

@@Kevscancave Fortunately this is the right had side. Eventually I will find the nut I dropped when I took the wire brush off.
I noticed that I have a thread gage in the tap, and die set. In a while I will check the thread count.

I was using the same Diamond adjustable wrench today. It usually lives in the 50 tool box in the summer.

That's actually what I used on the tap. I put the handle on for show. I like the Diamond tools. Thank you Will.

@@brycewiborg8095 I used mine on a tap too. Pipe tap for a grease zerk on the rake gearbox.

Eventually the original will show up. I heard it fall. It's been years since the floor was this clean. Thank you Ken.

Closest metric would be 12mm at .472 or 13mm at about.513 however British Whitworth could be 1/2-12

@brycewiborg8095 another side note. British Whitworth is 55degree whereas we are used to 60degree.

@@countryguy828 I suspect this was made in Taiwan. It's a Menards brand, but old enough that it doesn't have a country of origin marked.

Those nuts were half the thickness than the one your holding Bryce. I wonder if the Grinder Nut 5/8-11 would fit.

I was surprised that the surface is steel. I bought it used to replace a plastic Black & Decker.
I had a Belsaw I really liked, but someone offered more than I had invested. Thank you Brent.
