Hey, that's a sick cover! Been thinking for a long time to upgrade my Ibanez with the Fluence pickups, is the K5 model fitted with the same soapbars as the SR models?

The K5 comes with active pickups called ADX5 - I am not quite sure if they're the same size but since they're also made by Ibanez and the K5 is basically a SR model I would assume they're the same

Just out of curiosity.. did you keep the stock eq in that k-5.. I believe Ibanez calls it the Vari-Mid EQ3 preamp which uses the stacked treble/bass and mid/mid freq knobs?

I kept everything that was changed, but the electronics were kind of broken so there's not much use of it anymore. The knobs I didn't change though. This model came with the 4 knobs as you can see in the video :)

I've a ibanez btb 675 does the fishman fluence fit perfectly ?

I've never played a BTB before, but for what I know the PUs in a BTB have more of a bartolini shape, while the fishman fluence have the emg shape. In that case, unfortunately, the fishman fluence won't fit. Wanted to get a pair of fishmans in my Ibanez EHB too, but I have the same problem. Would love to see fishman dropping the fluence pickups in both (emg and bartolini) shapes!

pickups come as a complete electronic set so everything in this Ibanez is replaced by Fishman electronics :)
