Had my M340i Touring for 3 weeks so still running it in and keeping below 4,500 rpm. Even with that limit, this thing is quick, it blows away my previous Q7 which was 6.5s 0-60 and it’s only at half throttle! As you say, when you stick it in comfort, its really smooth - it’s not far off the Q7 with the air suspension. It really is an all-rounder. I have no regrets at all. It really is a fantastic car that can suit all occasions.
szymon pogorzelski I disagree completely. I actually own this car since December 2019 and it’s not worth that kind money. 60mph to 130mph in this car is like fucking turtle, takes almost 14 seconds. 13.45 to be exact. Harmon kardon audio system which I paid extra money is shit and damping still feels cheap for the price. This car is absolutely not worth the money
@@Warrior11117 there is something wrong with your car if your m340i does 60-130 in that time. My friend owns one and he has got under 9 seconds every time ! So I have no idea what you are Talking about
I traded my 2016 BMW 340i xdrive for one these in January and WOW! 😃 I mean my 340 was a really nice car but this m340 is such much better. It's faster more roomier on the inside and has so much more technology that comes with it. The first thing I did was change out the grill for the kidney grilled look and its look sweeeeeet!☺️
Had mine a few weeks now. Your expression at 6:51 pretty much matched mine when I first put my foot down (and every time since)! ... awesome noise to go with awesome acceleration Matt
Matt, this review just popped up on my RUclips feed. Brilliant! Must be the best in the line up. As you say BMW are on song currently. Amazing cars. [That said the Touring must be the one to have.] Excellent review with passion!
@@goldengunist I've got my M340i xDrive Touring at the end of July. It's really incredible. What a great car! It's as Matt commented: a comfortable daily driver in comfort and a monster at sport mode. Just put in some AC-Schnitzer lowering springs and some track plates and it drives really great. The quality inside is outstanding, the ID7 is great, the motor is a cultured beast and I really love the adaptive chassis as well as the great feedback from the steering wheel. I've owned a F31 330d before, which also was great, but the power over 100 kp/h is much better, also the grip in curves - espacially on the front axle - is enormous. Overall I can say after about 1.500km: I love this car, it's the best overall package I've ever driven!
I’m changing my brilliant and completely reliable 2018 440i Coupe for a M340i in Tanzanite over black leather with Cerium Grey alloys, Comfort Plus, Technology, Visibility Packs plus sunroof next week (as I hate the grille of the new 4-Series and couldn’t contemplate getting one!).
Thank you for presenting the BMW M340i xDrive. The adjectives and superlatives are great descriptive words of emotion, however to add value and be objective without bias, scientific test result numbers would be much more appreciated. Example, you say the car feels way quicker than the claimed 4.4 seconds (0-100km / 62 miles)...why not perform an actual acceleration test?
BMW should have made the m340 look a lot more aggressive than it does. No difference between this and the 320 on the exterior and interior which is a shame considering it has such a powerful engine
Tbh I think that’s is party trick. It’s such a sleeper and blends in so well with traffic, you’d never guess it has the performance it has just by looking at it. And tbh, simple M performance parts (splitter, skirts, spoiler & diffuser) make it look MEAN. I saw a M340d with the kit and it stood out so much
I have a 2021 M340i and it’s the best car I’ve ever had. For the record this is the 4th 3 series BMW I’ve owned.

i confirm every word after 2 weeks. it is worth this price absolutely. so perfect

get mine early 2021 im hyped!
@@Warrior11117 Thanks for the warning, Martin. What would you recommend getting instead for the money? What about the 3 series Touring?
What is the real fuel consumption in day to day driving

This video made me want it. that's it. I am getting it, one way or the other!
Same here
Me too
Same.
Same
Amazing car. In my US M340i xdrive im getting 3.9 0-60mph. Just as quick as many V8s. Scat Pack Challenger was close.

Incredible machine, I am very jealous my friend, stay safe.
I've got exactly the same spec car , I absolutely love it, such performance and economy, mind blowing.
Got mine and its amazing! Definitely put some mods on mine
Good review keep up the hard work
Great review I’ll be ordering one next month, thanks
aside from the z4, this is the next beautiful bmw inside and out and also the best one to have right now in my opinion...
8 series & the 5 too look good.
Love the sound of that MPE
this front license plate won't wiggle during fast speeds? It's attached to the bumper with 2 screws only.

what cars are actually slightly quicker than this? thanks
Collecting my Touring on Tuesday. 😄
Please post pics somewhere online 😍

Older M3 rivalling beast 🔥
great review, would love to see another one for the touring version

Does this one you’re driving have the adaptive suspension?
Adaptive suspension is standard on M340i
@@bmf5420 I'm afraid that not the case. Mine doesn't have it. It's an option.
@@williamwaters1805 ah, I stand corrected. I thought it came standard on the M340 models 😆 how’s the passive dampers on yours? Is the ride firm?
