There is a huge politics at present time as well in CAN as president of CAN himself is member of Nepali Congress. similarly yesterday the member of Madhesh cricket association became Chief Minister of Madhesh Provinvce.
Consequently There are also lot of Member of Nepali Congress and other Parties in ANFA as well. The whole Sport Eco System is surrounded by Political Parties.

Sorry that was a brief answer but I want to elaborate more on this it’s not just the country or the politics which affects the sport structure of any countries for e.g look at South America they have political issues,violence and such in many countries who have an excellent national football team.But what deters the politicians from taking that away from the masses is they know the passion behind the game..they won’t dare touch funding or interfere with the things which they love..sorry to take the only outtake I see from the fans in our country is we show up in any events or things which has media coverage..Olympic ma suddenly euta nepali is showing up they will be treated like the next big thing or we qualify for any other World Cup or something we show up tyes pachi chaina we don’t give a shit…voice raise gareko khoi..the problem here is we as a country show support only if they are delivering,we will ghost them if they can’t perform hola post huncha social media ma but hear me out brother anyone with influence over masses be it this RUclips channel if we don’t perform well on this worldcup euta le hudaina failure how can we do better Bhanera banaudaina or anyways to improve with what we have ..winners haru lai matra praise garne jamana ho,lose gare pachi not our problem bhancha hidcha.
