  • Reflective macro photography subjects like wedding rings and jewellery are difficult to light. The learning curve is very steep for getting the lighting right on subjects like these both in a studio environment and on location.
    In this quick macro photography tutorial, Ben takes a look at lighting techniques for shooting an engagement ring. What are the advantages of the Adaptalux Studio over a ring light setup?
    We take a look at some tips and tricks for getting the most out of your Wedding ring photographs, both on location and in the studio. What makes a ring shot stand out and how do you preserve details in reflective subjects?

    It might just be me, but I found the background music a bit distracting. I have had a stroke and one of the difficulties it's left me with is tuning out background noise, so as I just said, it could just be me, but it might be worth considering. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed the video.

    • @Adaptalux
      @Adaptalux  4 года назад

      Thanks for the feedback Ashley, I've toned it down a lot in recent videos, I'd love to know how you get one with one of the new ones.

    • @laponder9681
      @laponder9681 4 года назад

      @@Adaptalux I agree with Ash. It is SO distracting! There is a pop-like sound that is similar to the one my phone emits when I have a text. I spent the whole of the video checking my phone for texts. Finally realized it was the backgroud "music," so unnecessary to the video.
