What a day 3 performance from India...felt emotional watching Pujara play..He's under so much pressure from all possible corners..undoubtedly He's an amazing team person who deserves all respect for His contribution to Indian cricket..a few innings where he did not do so well should not make us forget in the blink of an eye the numerous occassions He bailed us out of trouble..just wishing n hoping he goes on to make a massive hundred and feel His best again..
Being nice and a team person won't win you games. Neither will aggression. You have to perform primarily. Performance can be supplemented by aggression or politeness
Yes team selectors may feel the need to drop Pujara when he has been in lean patch for two years now.
But before doing that selectors should first have a solid backup for Pujara
If there is anyone they can drop Pujara for a series or two & see how the young guns perform
If the young guns cannot do what Pujara does than bring Pujara Back

The things that we forget while we suggest to drop Players like Rahane & Pujara is that The Quality of a player does not decrease, its just the form that gets affected. The player is always backed for his quality bcoz form comes & goes
This is what Ganguly did with Sehwag & Bhaji- see the result, this is what MS Dhoni did with Rohit & Shikhar

Yeah dude, he rarely edged a ball yesterday, and was scoring outside off balls by opening his bat face towards the slip cordon. Much similar to Joe Root. He's in form!!!

Pujara is totally a momentum & in the zone player. England fed him quite a few loose balls at the start & that got him going. If you wanna see how good he's playing just look at his feet both against pace & spin. See how he off he's crease as soon as he hits the ball. It's amazing what confidence does to you. Kudos !!
