For all the respect he gets I still feel like Mika is underrated. One of the only guys to ever out qualify Senna in the same team. Two-time champ, dozens of race wins, and the guy who put Schumi in his place multiple times. Amazing driver. Hope he's still doing good.
Raikkonen was much more popular for his Ice Man moments during interviews n what not, the Bwoah, but looking back, Mika was exactly the same. His interviews are hilarious. "Oh yea it was so easy...*awkward silence* no."
Very! Schumacher went up another gear after he came out on top in 2000, while Mika sadly couldn't sustain that level. Great scraps at their peak, though.
He liked a strong front end. Braked early and carried good apex speed. So a smooth oversteery style, let's call it that way. Less aggressive than Michael's and similar to Kimi, although Kimi liked even more oversteer.
I dont understand how he's doing this. I drove this car in-game, its impossible, the breaks are very uselsss, the rears always lock up, it has 0 downforce, 0 traction, how the fuck is he pulling this off? I see Verstappen driving today, and I very much know what he's doing is amazing, but it's definitely not impossible. This looks like magic.

605kg, V10 Ilmor ♥ Best Time in F1
Miss u Mika! My fav driver of all the time!
king mika
That sound! My favorite car of F1, along with the coolest champ, the original Flying Finn 😎😎
I hope we get onboard video of his run in the 4/13 from today (10/5/2018, Japanese Grand Prix demo run).
That’s where mika hakkinen won here twice to win both titles with McLaren this is his first title in 1998
he had to have been one of the few people to take 130R basically flat back then
1998 and Those V10s Were Roaring Of power
So much more planted, with good rear traction and body stability
Back when shitty cam was nice
In 2000 both Hakkinen and Schumacher both had 2 WDC and were similar age, isnt that just weird to think about

GOD
The difference in the handling of Takagis car and mikas car is obscene.
(Senya)Miku Hakkinen
