I would suggest this lap from FP1 is before he was totally happy with the car. Looks like a lack of grip and very careful on the power. Great onboards though
its not a matter of grip, if you look at his racing line carefully youd figure out that his driving style is aggressive oversteer, very much like michael schumacher, both of them modulated balance through steering corrections rather than a dominant trust on the pedals as they would call it "sit on the rear tires"
I don't know if you guys realize but his best time in this video is actually 10 seconds of the pace compared to the PP from Schumacher, so this truly was a terrible lap :)
Watching Japanese drivers especially around Suzuka is like art. Probably the smoothest lap I've ever seen Takagi drive.
