I just did a ride yesterday and saw a rider with them. I didn't realize what I was looking at until I saw your video. Thank you.....great and honest review ! ! ! !
I don't have these glasses but i use a rearview mirror attached to the helmet, I don't go out with out it, i got use to looking back too, good video review. Thanks
In the early 90s, a company was selling a tiny round mirror that was designed to be mounted on the inside lens of any sunglasses. Functionally, it worked just like these. However, they were not adjustable and the glue was so strong that people discovered that you couldn't move it if you didn't get it just right on the first try. Thrilled to see they (or someone) figured out how to make it work!!
Nice. I have bifocal riding glasses in order to read my bike computer, and I have not seen cycling glasses that offer bifocals plus an incorporated rear view mirror. Thanks for the review.
@@jack002tuber there are always going to be methods and devices that work better for some. I personally never liked anything that protrudes out since I will inevitably break it.
I wondered the same thing. When you look at the mirror, you are not focussing on the mirror itself (which I also can’t do). You are focussing on the scene in the distance. I suppose one way to test this for yourself is to put a small mirror within a few cm from your eye and see if you can focus on the image in the mirror.
@@AndrewVanBeekOttawa One exact reason I was browsing the comments was to find this piece of information. From the surname, I was guessing somewhere in the Netherlands, but nope. For me, the best "review" part was to hear you precisely describe what we could see behind you - well done. Will likely order a pair for my next touring ride in Belgium+Germany+NL. :)
Is it one size fits all or are there sizes for women too or maybe children 😂? Edit: there is a smaller size 😭👍👍 Usually with glasses it's one size fits all which never fit me 😅
😂 I think it also depends where you are cycling. These glasses should be just fine for most scenarios, but not for me. I am 64 years old and cycle to and from work (30km round-trip) on very busy, narrow roads that do not always offer cycling lanes. As I had mentioned in a different comment, I require bifocal cycling glasses in order to read my bike computer which is essential for me. My Garmin backlight has a radar and a camera, which is critical as I need to know how many vehicles are approaching me and how quickly they are traveling. The camera is there for the unfortunate scenario you have described.
Could you let me know if the adjustment on the mirror is vertical as well as horizontal? I ride a reclined recumbent bike so my angle would need to be a bit upwards then the rider of a standard bike. Thanks....
last thing I needed was another bike accessory but here I am
😂👍🏾

I have the double mirror and feel very insecure without them...have a few models that I no longer use because these are a must on every ride❤❤❤

Bought a pair a few months ago and I love them. A little pricey but well worth it. Personally I highly recommend them!

I saw something similar when I was researching.

@@edteach3r I wonder if the prescription glasses insert can be made with bifocals.
Interesting. I have a helmet mirror I use. Same one for about 25 years, works really well

Hey Mindy, perhaps these would be useful....unless you already have a pair.....
I love them, i don't use them on a bike but when i am with my mistress so i can see if my wife is coming !
nice, Just ordered one from Amazon.. thank you
I didn’t even realize they were sold on Amazon.
Great video as always!
@@guypilon4885 Thanks Guy!
Unfortunately if you have myopia/ short sited or use contact lenses it’s very difficult to focus, so a mirror on the bike is for me❤

@@saraivab Agreed! It's the single most important feature of the glasses and surprisingly easy.

What about night riding?
I would definitely use them at night with a clear lens.

Clear lenses for riding at night
Would these work with a full face helmet?
@@tomtu550 I would imagine that the helmet would get in the for seeing backwards but I can’t say for certain.
WoW
Thanks for the review! Very helpful. You may want to correct the spelling on your title; currently it says Try instead of Tri
Thank you, that was a weird miss!
Nope, mirrors are for me 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤ nice video
They look great for seeing exactly which car knocked you off your bike 😂
Or seeing what is approaching you and avoiding being hit. Most people would choose this option but you can use them as you see fit.

Yes it moves in any direction.
So many stupid questions in the comments. Are people really this dense!?
