what is VERY GOOD with your video, is that you did NOT remove the ENTIRE bumper, just to take out the headlight on ONE side, which is a typical mistake we see on many other videos where the guys go UNDER the bumper to STRIP out a DOZEN other screws :( Good work mate, and a very clean explanation, keep it up :) :)
My offside Halo failed and thus failed its MOT last week. I took the PCB out of the good side and put it in the duff side and then it worked. Ordered PCB through amazon as conveniently BMW only sell the complete headlight assembly but it still didn't work. Alternative one arriving this week.
@@theonlyhowsie4281 no, annoyingly! Th initial long winded part number was almost identical, but it didn't work. However, got a pair from Ebay and they DID.
@@justinneal5751 ok thanks! 👍🏻 i’ve got the same problem on my nearside of my 2011 F11. I’m going to pull it out in the next week or so to double check the correct part number. MOT due in March so thankfully have a little time to sort out!
Thanks for posting this! Really useful info. Question though: I got Halfords to replace my last headlight bulb that blew. The guy just got me to turn my wheels to one side and replaced it just in the wheel arch. Can’t you do that without removing the whole light?
Hi My entire assembly went out the angel lights, the low beam and the yellow bulb....I see your DRL link and I know the low beam is an H7 do you know the model or part number to the lil yellow light?

Thanks man!
So you don’t buy like a regular halo light bulb? It has to be that big gray thing?
The gray thing is the bulb
Great video thanks, do you have to purchase one halo bulb per halo ring ?
Yes.
Silly question but @4:32 Does every headlight have 2 drl bulbs?

It's a halo replacement. Not a headlight bulb replacement :)

Most likely the module went out or got wet. Check out my other video
Would this be the same for a 2011 528i ??? Also what is the side yellow light called? In the top corner of the light?
The turn indicator
Hi, Would it be the same for 520 D se Saloon? Thanks for the video.
Yea it should be. 5 series typically have similar parts
The little square on the splash you see with the 2 screws yeah bro that was your access
Your wrong. That's only headlight bulb access

My mistake
The one your replacing is the angel eyes. The halos is a totally diff bulb
That's the bulb for this car. Click the part link to verify if you'd like
Do i have to take battery out of car?
No
How long did these last ?
Still going strong!
So my driver side halos died, both died. So i buy 2 halos module per headlight?
Yes
Can you send part number to halo bulbs
Links are posted in the description. There's two different part numbers based on your vehicle
