- Trump supporters were attacked at a San Francisco bar named Zeitgeist. They filmed the encounter.
Here's how it happened according to one of the two Trump supporters who were assaulted:
While in San Francisco, we popped into a bar called Zeitgeist. The blue-haired barmaid at the counter pointed to my friend's MAGA shirt and asked "are you serious?" He responded "yes". She replied "we're not going to serve you. you need to leave". Another bartender offered to get us a drink but the bluehair come back to chastise him: "don't serve these bigots". We engaged the bluehair by asking what about our positions offended her so deeply. Her response was that we're bigots, need to leave, and that there was nothing to discuss. She left the bar counter to grab some thugs to kick us out and this is when the recording starts. I was walking (and at some point) running backwards while recording so the camera is a bit shaky. If you watch closely you'll see:
1) The bouncer physically pushing me through and out of the bar
2) The bouncer trying to pry the phone out of my hands
3) The bouncer throwing a punch
4) The bouncer chasing me out into the middle of the street
5) The bouncer chasing me on the sidewalk
6) A post-mortem discussion with another bouncer and a bar patron about how Trump supporters "have to keep quiet" in San Francisco

So let me get this straight. A closet bouncer deplorable, kicks out of a bar 2 open deplorables, then gets approached by a street bystander that is a closet deplorable. This bar is fantastic. My wife's son goes there all the time. Quatrain says the glory holes are big enough to accommodate his girth and that the bouncers there are always happy to take care of "his needs".

First of all this happened over a month ago but for some reason they just made a big deal about it yesterday. So what actually happend and what the News is not telling everyone is that these guys came into the bar looking for attention/trouble, it had nothing to do with them wearing Trump shirts or being Trump supporters. When they were at the bar ordering drinks one of the guys said to the female bartender "Does my shirt make you wet?" at this point she told him he needed to leave and he refused to so she went and got security. This is when the video starts... you see her walk back in from the patio and security starts telling them they neet to fuck off. That is when they start playing dumb and the pull victim card and keep saying "what did we do? why? why? why? It is typical behavior. They acted like a bunch of shitbags and then as soon as someone doesnt' put up with their shit they start acting like little bithces and cry babies. This bar is one of the busiest bars in San Francisco. It has a reputation of not putting up with any shit from anyone. If you are respectful you get treated with respect. If you have an attitdue or break the rules you get told to fuck off and kicked out... On a typical Friday or Saturday night there are hundreds of people in the bar and back yard. No body cares about you politics or if you like Trump or Hillary... It's a bunch of people hanging out and getting drunk. 10 to 20 peole get kicked out on an average night. It's nitorious for having a no Bullshit policy. The bartenders will tell you to get off your phone if your at the bar or tell you to fuck off if you act liek a prick. It's a high volume bar so they don't have to put ups with assholes or idiots... unlike a lot of other businesses who can't afford to lose any business and will kiss up to you even if you are a pain in the ass or rude... they also don't care about Yelp reviews and people love reading all the negative ones to each other while they drink. 99% of the people that come into the place have a great time. The people who bitch and whine about it and are annoying and the people who you wish you could tell off when you are at your job... The news is spinning this story because it is click bait. (It must be a slow news week) These guys are the type of guys who talk a bunch of shit and get out of line before a fight and then when shit goes down start crying and saying they are going to sue you. After security gets them outside they are telling them to just get out of there because the were trying to start trouble and they found some... then they pull the whole "We're on the sidewalk you can't tell us to leave line" The headline for this story shoule be "Two douche bags make innappropriate sexual remarks to female bartender and get thrown out of bar and record video of themselves acting like giant pussies. But that story doesn't sell any newpapers so you get this instead. They are lucky the bartender didn't slap the shit out of them...

You should probably contact an attorney. I am a security expert and what they did was unlawful and outside of their duties. I construct reports all the time based on events involving assaults by overzealous security. They had no regard for your safety and the behavior was absolutely ridiculous.

It's the owner's place. They simply removed undesired patrons from the establishment. If you were in the owner's position, you'd feel the exact same way. That's freedom, folks.
Refusal to serve an individual is their prerogative, refusal to sell to a particular group is unconstitutional and Im pretty sure illegal.
Before passing judgement we must consider what transpired before the video began. I know for a fact that people are not targeted for being Trump supporters at that bar let alone removed for it. From most accounts of the incident the patrons who were removed because they were harassing staff members trying to get a reaction at one point commenting on the female staff members body in a negative fashion. Regardless of your political affiliation that kind of behavior will get you booted from pretty much any bar. Reportedly since the altercation the bar has revived numerous phone calls composed mainly of racial, sexist, and homaphobic slurs. It's this kind of immaturity that can't be tolerated. Let's all try to treat each other with respect. ✌🏻️

I've been to this bar before. It's constantly playing punk rock, and is an Antifa hangout. Good beer, but the demographics are horrible.
