This made my install so smooth. Thank you!
One tip, use DRY LUBRICANT in the cylinder, such as WD40 PTFE. I’m in the process of taking apart the handle and remove the cylinder because the weather caused the pins to seize so that they don’t engage with the key.

Door knobs Josh are my Achilles heel! I loath those things. You can not imagine how many wrong ways I can find to install them!!!!!

I was replacing an old Kwikset handle set so I didn’t need to install the new striker plate but I did need to use that round piece that you showed at the end because that’s what was on the old set. I didn’t want to have to chisel out a space.

Wooowhooo. Good video! Straight forward. I couldn’t figure out why wouldn’t they supply four long screws for the deadbolt striker plate instead of two? Oh well thanks again I’m a new subscriber now!

I installed one today (only handle with lock, no deadbolt) Your video help me do it. Many thanks! Only one issue: key turns left to lock. How do I change it so that key turn right towards the door jam to lock?
For some reason when I lock the handle, it doesn't lock straight up and down, its like a a very slight angle when its locked. I tried multiple times and it won't seem to go on any other way. Not only that, but the part you turn to lock it doesn't really seem to stick out as far as it should, to me, that may be by design. Any ideas?
I pulled that piece of paper but screw cover didnt come off. How do I get it off? I figured it out. I pushed those 2 notches with a flathead screw driver.
mine didn't loosen either. Which two notches did you push?
I did the same thing. Pull the paper out improperly… now I’m trying to get the rose cover off…
Made it all the way to the end and can’t figure out how to get the handle to stay on with the little Allen screw🤦🏽♀️ help pls lol
