  • Let's see if The T-Bone MM-1 measuring condenser microphone is any good for studio vocal recording and not only! Compare with Behringer B-1 large diaphragm condenser comes amazing results.

    I think the B1 sounds better however you can make the MM1 sound good too with some adjustments. However let's not forget that these are two microphones with different jobs. Cool video and thanks for the test!

      Absolutely right! I consider MM-1 as a recording microphone just in case...

    They do sound different, but only compared side by side. Otherwise nobody can tell that you one mic or another.
    I have seen people achieving similar results with big budget studios at a fraction of the costs .

      B1 it's cardioid and MM-1 omnidirectional. That’s nice because I don't have to care speaking in front of the microphone. But let's face it B-1 it's better sound (not dramatically though...)
