Can you imagine a Harry Potter horror movie about the creation of Dementors?
That'd be wicked
@@Jack_Grimson Rated R lol
That would be perfect for Halloween if you ask me, but that would be with Rowling's blessing, and contribution to the movie, so that the movie would be canon, and not just a what if or a Fan fiction movie 😎😎😎
I'd totally watch it.
@@macwelch8599nah only horror movie rated 18+
if your patronus kills you, you might be a dementor
Make it happen
Given how old the magical world is, I find it strange that it took until the 15th century until something as basic as a levitation was invented.
It also doesn’t make sense that they were flying on brooms before levitation was invented
It's because world building is not exactly Rowling's forte. I imagine she created the 15th century guy first, while she merely focused on Britain. All the ancient history and magic users from all over the world were basically a retcon
They could just say it was lost knowledge and rediscovered later on
@@blarfroer8066 at least an acceptable retcon.
I'll just believe that it was common but never formally defined until then. 😂
What I wouldn’t give to see a crossover with the Wizarding World and BBC’s Merlin.
You should read the "James Potter" series by G.Norman Lippert. It's a series of books that take place after the events of the Deathly Hallows and center around all the children of the people in the original books. The series was so well written it was even sanctioned and made canon by J.K. Rowling herself. In these novels, Merlin himself locked himself away in a prison outside time itself, but James Potter (Harry's oldest) accidentally let him out while on an "adventure". I think the books start with James in his 3rd or 4th year at Hogwarts
I’d rather see the Wizarding world meet the Great Old Ones.
There is just something about mystery that always attracted my mind. Fantasy movies, space, sht like that always has been extremely intriguing to me.
Small correction - European persecution of witches was early modern, not medieval . In fact medieval theologians said that claiming witchcraft existed was an error and gave the devil undue influence.
Daemonologie
King James wrote a dissertation titled Daemonologie that was first sold in 1597, several years prior to the first publication of the King James Authorized Version of the Bible.
Check your facts. The Stuart era is hardly early modern. More like middle ages
@@Pokemon-Kid112 1600+ is certainly early modern. No one would call it medieval!
I wasn't saying medieval, I was saying middle ages, it goes dark ages, medieval era, middle ages, early modern then modern. I study history for fun, as the key to the future is the past.
@@Pokemon-Kid112 I was a medieval studies major at Brown University. Your scheme is not used by historians.
I want fantastic beasts 4 with Johnny depp as grindelwald 😢😢😢
I really want Fantastics beasts too... I don't care who they cast Grindelwald as
Jamie Campbell Bower?
I just want a newt story and not a Dumbledore story.
Haven't they ruled out any further movies?
I agree! Only Johnny can be Grindelwald 😢 I want them to give Fantastic Beasts another go
I wish I could get a book series of the years of voldemort at hogwarts, the mauraders/lily/snape at hogwarts, and even a book on the founders of hogwarts.
Vids like this show there are gold mines for so many potential stories within movies and TV shows to be told
I have a video idea: Who are all the wizards and witches that have their names on Chocolate Frog Cards?
Fantastic video!
I wonder if Saint Germain is part of Wizarding World canon? Since Nicolas Flamel (another renowned wizard based on a famous alchemist) already exists then I imagine someone as esteemed as Saint Germain surly must have lived at some point in Wizarding World history.
❤Awesome as always thanks
yeah Bobalos, i see you on your book in many of your vids. it really is a great mount. it was by far the best of the ones offered to vote on when Blizz did that. great choices!
Goes to Azkaban- what are you in for?
(Outrageous silliness) ! 😂
A very Good Video 👍🏻
Why are wands allowed in Quidditch? Harry uses one to repel dementors and scary disguised Malfoy crew, but wouldn't Accio Snitch be a lot better of a use?
Apparently the snitch was enchanted with spells that made it immune to such things
@vexile1239 one would think, but with the nonsensical way most of the Wizarding world makes I wouldn't have been surprised if it just was never thought of...why use owls for post when teleportation is an option?!
It technically is not allowed. The reason Harry got away with it was that he did it in self-defense.
Nice video! Could you maybe tell me where you got that thumbnail artwork from?
After everything we've learned about the living portraits at the school, is there an additional type of portrait? Portraits of Wizards and Witches who lived before the creation of living portraits.
If Circe lived on that faraway island long ago, we can doubt that she sat for living portrait to be painted. Would her portrait be one created for educational purposes like how schools today might have posters of George Washington or Winston Churchill? But in this case her image and personality were both the creation of the artist.
If Circe, a real life goddess from Greek mythology was a witch in the wizarding world, does that mean other gods from both Greek and other mythologies could’ve been wizards and witches that muggles just began worshipping as godlike figures due to their lack of understanding of magic? For example look at all the feats that Jesus performs in Judaeo-Christian mythology that are considered miracles. In the wizarding world, most of that is relatively simple magic all things considered.
Very good
If I had a patronus, it would be a jackalope, they always make me laugh.
this channel is too good
Thank-you!
Where did you get this information? How do you know this is true?
Interesting!
I always imagined it as the wizards discovering new spells more than creating them
Some of these would be magnificent to see on screen.
I'm actually familiar with some of these wizards as their name and description appear on the collectable Wizard Cards of HP1/2 on 5th and 6th gen consoles. Having the videogames alongside the movies and books was yet another opportunity for young fans at the time to expand their knowledge of the lore.
I just want Harry Potter to move to an episodic medium so everything can be properly fleshed out. If they made a Supernatural esque show (13+ seasons with 20+ 40 minute long episodes) in the Harry Potter world you could milk us fans for all we’re worth
Okay but for real, does anyone get the great impression that Acrus had a burning desire to become death itself!? I mean why else would you commit such atrocities against normal people to create those miserable creatures!?
Where does all this extra information come from? Is there like a Harry Potter Silmarillion?
I've heard of Morgana, but not her last name. Your research of Morgana is the same as I've learned about her, though I first learned about her rise of power from an episode of the original "Macgyver" TV series in its seventh (and final) season. I wonder if Dumbledore would've stood a chance against her had he been around at that point in time.
What about Isadora??? Can u put her in the next video please? 🙏
I'd heard of Circe, Morgana, and I'm pretty sure Merwyn.
from this very yt channel ? xD
imagine having field lines where there is no out-of-bound rule within the lines
my patronus….is a #&@%ing bong! and i love it
Horror movie based on ezkrizdis would be awesome
Do a video comparing ancient magic to modern magic, which was more powerful
It said no views but I am watching the video😂

I have heard of Circe and Morgan Le Fay, I love Mythology and magical Folklore, they are some of the most prominent figures of ancient fiction, be they evil or otherwise.
Ravenclaw house
Hufflepuff house.
@@michaelhall9146 let's smoke one then
I'm partial to Gryphons! 😂
Thumbnail was from ready player one XD wow
Imagine with so much lore we haven't gotten any comic book game or novel it's sad
How tf do you accidentally do all the very specific steps it takes to become an animagus?
I'm guessing by a lot of people failing at it and passing down their failings.
I think of creating new ways of magic like of modern science. You have an educated guess and then you just start experimenting.
The story of Andros makes the theory of Lolanthe Potter nee Peverill becoming the first to summon the patronus charm
Ain't no way people have never heard of morgana le fay seeing as she's synonymous with Arthur
exactly. arguably the most famous witch ever
I want to say or my theory is that it similar to knowing a president/king/emperor etc. From one history (in my case mexico)
You may know thier name in passing and maybe 1-2 things they did
But there so much history that they get lost in it and get forgotten until you go back and look
Crazy, July 16th is my birthday!
on the last one, Andros, it never said what creature the Patronus was? just that it had the height of a Giant?
what is the source?
"Powerful wizards"
Patient zero of dragonpox. Died of said disease. But powerfully, I guess
I would love to see what Dracula is like in this universe if he exists
Dude's patronus was a bunch of maggots?
Wow...that's...um...
Don't know what to say.
All I can see with this thumbnail is Halliday's avatar in ready player one
Cliodne just sounds like a repurposed/renamed version of Rhiannon 🤷♂️🤷♂️
There is another legendary wizard u forgot,,,, despicable haebo,,,,,,,, he was inventor of horcrux,,,,,, he fought against andros
I'm surprised the patronus charm didn't become an unforgivable.
Why would it, it just produces light from the animal you’re most fond of
maybe because it can potentially kill u ? dunno
Where did this info come from? Cite the source.
What about Merlin?
I’m guessing a lot of these people’s images are from Hogwarts Mystery ⚡️
Circe, but no Medea?
Where are all this characters described?
I remember Circe in the simpsons
1544 is in the 16th century and not the 15th.
I'm confused on u merlin wasn't on here
You don’t have to be pure of heart to cast the patronus charm, both Pettigrew and Snape are proof of that. They were able to do the spell and they had damaged hearts
Pettigrew is never mentioned as being able to cast one
@@ValerieJacksonBB actually Rowling said in an interview that he couldn’t
@@alecedgeworth2814 okay, then why bring him up as an example of not needing to be pure hearted when he can't?
@@ValerieJacksonBB they said in the video that you couldn’t do that spell if you weren’t pure of heart and since Pettigrew was able to do the spell that would mean that you don’t need to have a pure heart to do it since Peter for sure didn’t have a pure heart but a traitorous heart
@@alecedgeworth2814 he's not able to cast a patronus though? Umbridge is a much better example of not needing to be pure hearted (though I suppose she would argue that she is)
No Merlin? Order of the Merlin😮
Why did you leave the black wizard from Egypt's picture out of it. I've seen the video like this before in the first wizard was African
Again 7 ..thala for a reason 😂
Accio 1st comment! Lol...thank you for another great video
and last in society aswell.
@@queenbrightwingthe3890 meaning what exactly?
Your definitely a ravenclaw
Ahhh yes early ✨🤍✨
Elves would surpass any wizard/witch if they just werent oppressed
Has anyone ever asked... Where does all this lore come from? Small pieces are from the books or JK but then people run hog wild and made up bs becomes established lore in this community. People call stuff "theories" without ever understanding what that word means. Kinda sad in a way the sheer amount of "lore" from harry potter is way more than 7 books and like 4 short stories has to offer. Lot of reading in between lines that don't exist necessarily.
for fuck's sake, there is so much bullshit in the world right now that when I looked at the thumbnail, I read patronus wrong, I thought it said pronouns. I hate myself so much for that.
I think the upcoming HP series on Max has tremendous potential in of itself, as well as spin offs…as long as they aren’t foolish enough to go down the same self-destructive DEI road that Disney insists on.
My problem with Howard legacy is that ancient magic doesn't look or feel that powerful in the game the wizard of that time aren't that powerful. There's no elder Wang, no invisible cloat ect
It's interesting that so many of the darkest wizards also make it onto Chocolate Frog Cards, yet I don't believe Voldemort has one, does he?
I always think this "have never heard of" is sort of really not nice. I did not know all 20 - but I knew of a kit if them,
You say the ame and my brain is like "oh he/she did that"
also I find it funny that some people like Morgana/Circe are included and others are not.
Fifth 😎
and you last in society.
@@queenbrightwingthe3890 I’m actually a lead technician for the only crime scene cleaning business in my state :) so I’m pretty important
Lol my Patronus would end up eating the world.
