Yes you did more dmg to a shielded target but we are far, faaaaaar from an effective item against shields. Serpent's Fang reduces those by half if I'm not mistaken, Shadowflame allowed you to deal... a bit more damage to the target, with the actual value ranging anywhere between 15? and 1% depending on the initial MR value, excluding other sources of magic pen. There are probably fringe cases where it's comparable to Serpent's Fang but most of the time, it would be worse, and god forbid we took the big shields into account (shieldbow, Shen ult, Sterak's...) because Shadowflame ain't doing crap about those.

It's not apples to apples, healing is a more persistent mechanic in the game, you can't get shields on hit they all come from abilities and items and they all have cooldowns. So there shouldn't be an 800 gold quick fix option. But still there should be a core item for every role that can address the problem because there are just so many shields in the game.
tbh just pick garen I don't play him except for the ksante matchup your E shreds armor so ksante gets less ad when he ults and when he ults you ult since he cuts his own hp and garen ult is missing hp true dmg super free, i also go black cleaver second to make the armor shred even bigger
Honestly, play a top laner,(jauggernaut/bruiser) with a strong early game and abuse him. Deny CS, freeze the wave, etc., because K'Sante's early levels are pretty weak until he hits level 6. Rush Black Cleaver if you can, build health and shields,armor .The champ is a stat checker; if you're even in gold and items, there's not much chance you'll lose in a 1v1, especially if you play well.(He needs more stats, armor, and XP to deal damage and win.) In tank mode, he doesn't do much damage, and in his ultimate form, he loses a lot of stats. So, if you're ahead in items and gold/experience, you should definitely win every duels.
The crucial part is missing. Rumble is famous for the early game pressure. His level 3 and level 6 can easily kill any champion with full hp. I was expecting some advice on this period which you didn’t mention.

SK is better in teamfights where you can proc it multiple times in a row, Eclipse is better in lane and also in 1v1s since the shield is flat (which is better than %missingHP healing the majority of the times) and the proc deals decent damage.

Eclipse is 6s cooldown and 2800 Gold, Sundered Sky is 8s cooldown and 3100 Gold. Eclipse works better as a offense + defense item for quick trades or burst combo usually suited for 1v1. Sundered Sky is a more defensive item meant to sustain you longer in a team fight and the healing is based on your missing health. It is also noted that the healing effect is PER Target so if you hit a target once then move onto another it will have more benefits similar to Jarvans Passive. In addition you have to land the basic attack to actually proc the effect and it's a guaranteed crit as well so and critical modifiers such as Infinity Edge or Randuins Omen may have some difference however this does not mean your build is fixed onto Crit as it is just a bonus effect.
I think Irelia, Fiora, Camille and Riven could make for some interesting videos. Add in Gwen and Vayne too, now that we are at it. Toplane has a lot of these "learn the match-up" scenarios.
How to counter Camille: just build burst damage items and HP, her true damage is a lot less effective vs tanks and other champs that can afford to stack HP and unless she can proc her passive on you, she melts to any burst damage
I love picking Trundle into Tahm Kench because every time TK tries to use Abyssal Dive you can instantly put pillar on him to interrupt it, setting up for easy ganks. So always save pillar for when he tries to dive. Also Trundle can have good lane sustain to survive TK lane poke and likes BorK which is effective vs TK health stacking. An effective lane pattern is to fight to maybe half health, then wait until you can heal up more than TK, rinse and repeat until you have a clear health advantage to look for all-ins or bully him out of lane.

it affects ALL heals and shields done by you, to yourself or to your allies. it does not increase healing and shielding you receive from others (only way to do that is bringing revitalize or building spirit visage)
As a main Yorick, I can give you some advices for deal against him : In lane, pre 6 Yorick is weak, and the majority of his damage comes from ghouls. Ghouls have 50%reduction dmg against area damage but get one shot by auto attack and spells which applies on-hit effect (like Irelia's Q). Yorick has to farm graves with his Q to have ghouls, so if you can, when Yorick moves forward for farm creeps with his Q, you can trade him because he will not be able to replicate with his Q in cd. If you see multiple graves (3 or 4), you have to dodge his E, otherwise his ghouls will deal a lot a dmg. If you got hit by his E, just desengage and kill ghouls. His W can be destroy by aa, and in early he has only 2 hps, so spell with reset aa like Jax W can destroy his cage very easily. After 6, don't do long fight against him, ask your jungler for help because Yorick will push naturally because of his maiden. If you can, kill his maiden, Yorick deal no damage without his maiden and she has 160sec of cd, so you have a free lane for 3min. In mid and late game, try to not fight in waves, since Yorick can spawn multiple ghouls with his maiden. If you can kill his maiden in a first engage, do it and disengage for wait your cd. If Yorick release his maiden in a lane, go in this lane and kill the maiden fastest possible, and keep in mind that if Yorick doesn't have his maiden, he is very weak. For build, tabi is very good on Yorick because it reduces the damage of the ghouls too. Buying armor is very good against him but a little of MR too because his maiden deals magic and markes the target, making Yorick deals additional magic damage based on max hp. Bone plating is a good rune against Yorick and having movespeed can help you to dodge his E.

Nullyfying orb is the worst rune in the game, don't take it. Anything like taste of blood and new hp lasthitting rune will give you more health and without requirement of being low hp.

Not a very good video. All of these are finished items. Aka you will need around 10 minutes to buy them, and that's if you're going even in CS. Which usually doesn't happen vs Rumble because his lane phase is so oppressive in the hands of a decent Rumble. People don't need to know what to build against Rumble AFTER 10 minutes cause after that time a fair number of top laners start outdcaling him. Instead they need to know how to deal with him in lane. Thats the important part.

What i took from this was if tank spectre's cowl (very early game), if ad hexdrinker (and build maw early), if ap you're kinda cooked but still prioritize damage (and most ap champs that vs him top should be fine anyway). Also if possible take nulifying orb as rune. This is all solid
Just farm, rumble falls off hard around mid game and to cc, all he can do is assassinate and for team fights, and ult and e. Rumble is squishy and dead the moment he is slowed down
