I love this format. Very often, the way to counter a champion is not "gank them until they can't walk", but to actually play smarter and adapt so you don't need to ask for help. Also, the contrast between Tryndamere and the music you chose is very funny. Amazing.
i remember people used to take ignite to counter tryndamere dives. The strat was to basically ignite him as late as possible so that he cannot get the full heal from his q to survive the last towershot.
As a tryndamere otp, against nasus I just build mercurial scimitar, works great against champs that generally have one signature ability that stop your whole kit you just trade item active for spell when you know you can see secure a kill
@@punishing_birb Pretty much every single one. Full AP Gragas top has been broken for years at this point, even after finally getting a couple of nerfs, it didn't really do much. They really need to bring him back to bruiser like he should be. Full AP Gragas used to only be a mid meme pick by one tricks, but now it's become his only meta build as of the last few years. Bruiser Gragas would be so much healthier for the game. Full AP + E and Phase Rush literally lets him be completely uninteractable for any top laner. Add on infinite sustain from his passive, and you have an unbeatable laner.
Remember tho that stacking this much armor usually is overkill especially if enemy has magic damage champs usually just one of these items are needed frozen or omen. Also needless to say doing damage to tryndamere is almost just as important as survival, stops him hitting towers and forces ult.
Yup. Honestly, nowadays an item like Thornmail is perfect against him on tanks, especially if you already have Tabis and are going a 2nd armor item like FH. Thornmail cuts his healing which is super relevant in the current meta, and he will literally kill himself on any tank with Thornmail and enough armor. So many people don't realise how high the thorns damage is. It quickly becomes much higher than any burn by Sunfire, and it scales with the enemy attack speed, which Trynda can get at least 2 autos per second, meaning your Thornmail damage deals X damage twice a second.
One good thing you could add to your videos is what patch you made the video in, maybe put it like a watermark in a corner. Would help to know if it's up to date or not. Anyway great video as always, really helpful!
Yorick entire damage is physical and AA, from him and his ghouls, so the same items from trynda, also anti-heal because his Q heals a lot and is like 3sec. Cooldown, don't fight him when he has the maiden, is like a 3v1 since the maiden damage is magical, burn and %. Use anti-poke runes, because Yorick has a lot of poke. All-in him when he is maidenless, he will not have enough damage neither life to fight back. Also always be careful with the graves, if he has 1 or 2 and maidenless, all-in him, 4 graves is dangerous. NEVER fight agains him if he has 4 ghouls and maiden, even if you are 3/0 and he 0/3, he will win.
Dashes and high mobility bother him a lot, Fiora hardcounters him. Items that slow him down WILL crush his fight capacity in teamfights, or his ability to reach you. He likes to build HP since he's naturally bulky and his W shield scales with it, so items like Blade of the Ruined king and Liandry will help in tearing him down. Magic Resist will really not do a lot of good since he gets innate Penetration, you want to build your usual or just some mobility, in a sustain battle Morde doesn't do well so rushing Revenous Hydra/BotK will eventually let you outlast him during lane since he only heals from W recast, which is a very small heal assuming max Shield so if you are skilled you could try to fake engage him and force him to waste W and disengage (any Champion with mobility like many fighters could fight him from roughly 4-8 seconds and then leave to heal from items or even innately).
If playing Quinn into Trynd you can forego Ghost and pick Ignite instead. This is because you have your own E to disengage from his E and W passive grants you movespeed to help you kite him, so you can pick Ignite to cheese him during his ult. However you absolutely MUST pick PR as your keystone and Celerity as a rune otherwise you will have a bad time. PD as a 2nd item will help as well.

I'd like to add some. If you dont want to play tank but fight him, prioritize picking AP champions because Trynda's W reduces attack damage. Also, many people dont know this but if you are facing Tryndamere, his W wont slow you

The on hit damage reduction coupled with the slow debuff and the movement speed buff you receive will make him unable to kill you until his 3rd item. If they have a crit adc (not on hit), completing randuin’s omen should provide you with an additional slow alongside that of stridebreaker’s to keep him at check well into full build. Otherwise, stack health and pray you are playing a champion that brings cc to the table.
Could you do Yorick next ? The only things I know to counter him is picking Mordekaiser (but he's quite sh*t atm) to separate his maiden in your R, or building ms to avoid the E, but then he can trap you in his cage if he plays well, he just seems quite uninteractive as he can just stay safely under tower until strong enough to kick your teeth in...
Kled's a tricky one for me, if you could enlighten us please it would be very helpful. Sometimes armor isn't enough because he will usually builld armor pen on a 2nd or 3rd item, and things like Frozen Heart is not that useful when he has a W ready, I feel.

Walk up to you -> E away like he usually does -> your Boneplating is now on CD. Into Trynd, Second wind is much better on tanks, especially since he's a sustain laner now, but Bone Plating can still definitely be good on squishier champs.
I mean, unless the Trynd you versed was silver, he will just rush Swifties, Rav, PD, and kill you on repeat. Even if you play early game somehow perfectly, and buy swifties + Kraken/PD etc. yourself, you're still gonna get to a point where he just dives you under tower. 2 item Trynd vs any ADC in the game at 2 items is not supposed to be winnable. Unless you were going for a wife joke that I missed. Lmao.
Everything is cool until Trynda decides to buy one item that makes the 40% of your gold investment in armor worthless and/or one second item that heals him, makes him auto faster and also counter your total hp. Unless you buy frozen heart and pick Malphite/Nasus, but even then... If Trynda is smart, is just a stalemate where you can't kill him and he can't kill you. And lategame will be a nightmare of splitpushing. The best way of countering him, as I know from experience (and might be wrong, after all it's just my opinion) is team coordination to nulify his splitpush, or proxy farm to force him not to hit a single time your turret.
That was included in the video, but exhaust is most definitely always a better option on 99% of champs that need to avoid his dives. If you face fuck him in lane, then go for ignite for sure.

@@Lynx_998 Milio R, preemptive spell shields, (can't cleanse in ult as easily now) He's fast and has a pull, so rushing boots could help, countering his shield/heal with the appropriate items can crack down on sustain, and he does mostly magic damage but also auto attacks a lot, so items with sustained effects can be good against him since he likes to stick to you, (Force of Nature, Jak'Sho, Riftmaker, Liandry's, ect.)

If he triple crits you like 2.5% -> 7.5% -> 12.5%. Then sorry bro. God/Allah, Greece, Rome, Egypt, world spirit. Whatever you believe in decided today is not your day. However. For the very vast majority of the time he comes to lane and tries to hit minions for fury you get first hits on him. If you take ignite or have a good kill pressure champ you can straight kill him or force him of wave.

His E is slow and you can see him cast it on vision, so you should move away as soon as that happens, mobility could help in that, assuming insta engage with Q. Also it will do good to know that Voli is NOT that tough, he's not a colossus, so any of them can crush him if they catch him off guard. His W applies on hit effect so I'm not sure if Steelcap reduces it's damage or not, if it doesn't Mercury Boots + Bramble vest seems like a fair start assuming Tank, if Fighter I would change BV from just your usual items or BotK if it's good on you since Voli likes HP. His W only heals on *missing* health so he'll only heal a lot when he's low, and does it on an about 5-4 seconds cooldown, if you are a fighter you should try to finish him off fast in an all out.
Even with Hydra, bramble vest is not good. He does not hit you to heal of you, he buys it to clear waves and heal off waves. Bramble says "When struck by a basic attack", jokes on you, bramble doesn't give grievious wounds to the target if he decides to leech of the minions, which he can do, auto hydra auto and he has 300 hp back. Stick to Frozen Heart + Omen and don't delay your items by 800 gold, thats a noob trap right there.
Yep. Perfect idea. Thornmail damage is actually insanely strong, and scales better with armor than Sunfire does with HP. As well as Sunfire being 1 tick per second, while Thornmail is 1 tick per attack taken, which can easily be more than 1 tick per second. Super strong set-up.
No, he got 50% crit because of the crit item changes. He also mainly heals a lot with the active, which he wants to use in a big wave and once he has hydra you could have had tabis + frozen hard. Still a bad item to rush.
No. You cannot get mana or Haste on Yasuo. Just go Berzerkers and then Kraken into Randuins. Shieldbow is also pretty good here. Mortal Reminder is a sweet crit option that also offers healcut against his sustain. Take Exhaust. Kite his engages super well.

His W applies on hit effect so I'm not sure if Steelcap reduces it's damage or not, if it doesn't Mercury Boots + Bramble vest seems like a fair start assuming Tank, if Fighter I would change BV from just your usual items or BotK if it's good on you since Voli likes HP. His W only heals on *missing* health so he'll only heal a lot when he's low, and does it on an about 5-4 seconds cooldown, if you are a fighter you should try to finish him off fast in an all out.
Even with Hydra, bramble vest is not good. He does not hit you to heal of you, he buys it to clear waves and heal off waves. Bramble says "When struck by a basic attack", jokes on you, bramble doesn't give grievious wounds to the target if he decides to leech of the minions, which he can do, auto hydra auto and he has 300 hp back. Stick to Frozen Heart + Omen and don't delay your items by 800 gold, thats a noob trap right there.

Yep. Perfect idea. Thornmail damage is actually insanely strong, and scales better with armor than Sunfire does with HP. As well as Sunfire being 1 tick per second, while Thornmail is 1 tick per attack taken, which can easily be more than 1 tick per second. Super strong set-up.

No. You cannot get mana or Haste on Yasuo. Just go Berzerkers and then Kraken into Randuins. Shieldbow is also pretty good here. Mortal Reminder is a sweet crit option that also offers healcut against his sustain. Take Exhaust. Kite his engages super well.
