The segment with the elderly couple really reached to my heart and made my eyes water. All of my grandparents have passed away. This segment has emphasized to me how precious life is and how fast life goes by. I think that this story had the happiest ending possible.

I am a fan of the three-story Rescue 911 episodes. There's extra time devoted to those stories. I liked the episode as a whole, and it's a toss-up for me which story is my favorite. "Walkie Talkie" is definitely a great lead-off, and a pleasant surprise that the grandfather's injuries were very minor after that fall. "Florida Keys" is a sad one due to the love the elderly couple have for one another. "Children's Docu" was a good segment that focused on the little boy. It's always heartbreaking to see children in pain. Amazing that he seemed to bounce back. Great episode!

I’ve been re watching the old episodes from the late 1980s and 90s for a few days now. I’ve noticed so many are of people going off the marked trails and or using equipment or being in places unfamiliar to them.

It's a miracle that the young boy and his grandfather survived way back then

Florida Keys is where my sister was when she had the scuba diving mishap that gave her irreversible brain damage.
The last normal memory I have of her is listening to Journey and Lover Boy, her favorite bands then: 1981.

I can't even imagine the terror of being stranded up that mountain. I'm glad everyone is okay.

It feels strange to watch these after you've worked in patient care as long as I did. You notice things that nobody else would see.
I worked in Emergency Medicine & Cardiac Care: I was in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

34:06 is a very personal stand-out segment for me, because when i was a baby, i was at this hospital for real, and it's amazing to see this as a child on #rescue911, and my mom telling me all about this, even though i was so young as a baby when that happened also the bear with the stethoscope picture is in my family book when i was a baby as also shown in this segment 43:14.

20:28 stands out because my grandma and grandpa, (now deceased), lived in #pompanobeachflorida, and this is a florida segment, and drowning/respiratory arrest segments can and will take place anywhere, even in florida etc.

#walkietalkierescue stands out because of the canadian whale rescue that aired on #rescue911episode130, because that was the 1st canadian segment and thus this is the 2nd canadian segment.
