I was expecting a roughly put together guide containing the bare minimum information but this is actually incredibly well done. Really helped me with my playthrough.
I plan on using this mode with create, immersive engineering, ice and fire, mrcrayfish fun mod and furniture mod (fun mod addons included) lost cites, biomes o plenty, pans harvest craft 2, and some the ME system and marbled arsenal, the juggernaut armor in that mod is around the same strength as the dragonsteel armor, but has better knockback resistance, and I have mechanism for the cool tech, and travelers backpack, gonna add more mods to it, it for 1.19.2 btw
I've had this mod installed for a while now, but still haven't started any space exploration. Thanks for making a video on it! It's very comprehensive.
That was a REALLY cool guide! Everything was explained so well, and I'm greatful that Ad Astra is even a thing now, and that galacticraft 5 is under development too apparently; the space mods and space community is getting some love again; and its epic! hey guys btw if the coal generator isnt generating energy into the compressor it may be because you have optifine and ad astra isnt compatible with optifine. You must remove optifine in order for the energy to work with the compressor

The unofficial examples are like the horizon client, toolbox client and a modding like java but i forgot the name. Even modding in java is unofficial. The reason on why there are a lack of mods is that addons lacks features and unoffical clients are hard to code. Also the lack of vanilla features, is because of mcpe and a mess of a codebase(if it is). You could say the laziness, but eh, that's their laziness and laziness isn't really saying that they "don't care" about the community You can't just blame everything to microsoft
For those having struggles with water freezing, your pipes/cables do not count as full blocks, cover them up and see if that's the problem, just what worked for me
The game doesn't allow me to put water into my space station, it doesn't even freeze, just evaporate, like if I were in a hot planet. Anyone know what's the problem?? However, thanks for the review!!! it's full complete and so useful.
Great video, love the Ad Astra mod. On Venus now but I can't make an infinite water supply to pump into my Oxygen distributor. Any ideas on how to get infinite water on Venus, just evaporates right now like in the Nether
I ran into the same problem on the moon, it just freezes. I don't think you're meant to make oxygen-filled buildings on planets, just your space station around each planet. Stations would admittedly be redundant if you could also make bases on the surface.
@@ArloMathis You will need to either bring water from Earth, or you will need to fill up the Oxygen Tanks on Earth and bring them with you to the other planets. Set up your enclosed room and your oxygenation system apart from the actual water blocks, put the Oxygen Tanks into the Oxygen Distributor to start it up, then place the water next to the Water Pump to start it filling itself up.
a noticed when trying to land on any planet, ill use the moon for example, despite having extra launch pad, extra fuel, etc. I seem to spawn outside of the rocket cap that allows you to slow down and actually land safely on the moon, it just sort of glitches to the ground then blows up, ( I spawn up super high and it falls away from me , regardless of gamemode. ) is 1.19.2 broken or something?
btw i build the first rocket tried to go the moon hit the top of my wooden treehouse blew it up my whole base burned down and now im starting from scratch. make sure you have clearance
This mod seems INSANE! What other mods can use the fuel produced in ad astra? It seems the compressor from Thermal Expansion can convert it into power? I really miss Buildcraft with the oil but I guess this is as close we'll ever get to that?
Thanks so much for the nice comment Huldu! I believe you are correct about thermal expansion! A lot of modpacks have added custom recipes to integrate with ad astra :)
I was wondering on something about the space Stations, for some reason the stations keep getting reset back to its same state, which all our progress gets deleted. 1. I build upon the station on moon, but everytime I come back with the rocket it resets the entire station. and all progress made on it is deleted.. 2. how can you have your friend land on it?
i kinda wonder is there a way to have the space stations only start as small platforms so that i can build my own? also im guessing glacio is an astroneer reference perhaps?

Hey I know this is really late but I’m hoping anyone else that has this issue will get help with this: If you have “Mekanism” also installed, it replaces the option to make the Ad Astra steel ingots with the Mekanism versions. So you’ll need to make an infuser and put iron in there, then when it makes enriched iron, put the enriched iron back in to get steel dust. Then you can smelt the dust into steel ingots! I hope this helps as I ran into the same issue. It was a little annoying considering how easy it is in Ad Astra 😂

I think there’s a glitch, whenever I try to load fuel into my rocket. The tank won’t fill up. And the fuel bucket does nothing, I’m putting it in the right spot, what do I do?
I downloaded the latest version of this mod from the fabric courseforge, and in the best spacesuit, I literally run out of air in 1 minute, is this how it should be? how to fix?
Start by placing a couple of buckets of water into the distributor then place water underneath once the oxygen starts to distribute (you need oxygen to be in the room prior to making the infinite water source or it will freeze)
Is it possible to move around the space station in space ? Some friends wanted to have a star wars-like minecraft server, I thought about using mods like create aeronautics, valkyrien skies etc to fly around. Are there walls, limits around there ?
@@bazej5202 it’s only 1 per rocket, so your friends would have to build a rocket as well. I was able to set up a multiplayer server with friends and it worked!

I really hope they add more energy production sources because the solar panel is not efficient enough
in atm8 which has this mod, we have wind turbines that are better and a few other choices, probably atm 9 too

this happens if you have other mods in your pack which make steel more difficult to get. you'll have to investigate those mods

It is called Jade :) there are others called “theoneprobe” “wyla” and “hwyla”

judging by the self-added pipes and pumps, I doubt create compatibility is a thing.
Not sure, but the mod does seem pretty compatible with create, Im playing on a modpack with both rn and it works great!

Fill oxygen distributer manually with water. After the atmosphere is established, the water won't freeze anymore.
