These were great Family Friendly activities to do on the Island of Crete, Greece and we had one of the best Greek restaurant experiences during all our travels through the Greek Islands! ❤😋
Glad you are enjoying the channel!❤ This has been a great experience traveling and teaching our kids what the rest of the world has to offer. It's definitely brought us so much closer together! - Elly
Maybe if/ when we decide to stop traveling, we will let our kids get a snake or Lizard! The one sad thing about full-time traveling like we are is it's hard to have any pets...😔
38:00 This is not feta though but mizithra "μυζήθρα" (it is similar to italian ricotta) and is the cheese widely used on cretan dishes instead of feta. (eg ntakos, lixnarakia). There is also a salt-dried version that is used for grating on pasta that is called anthotyros. 39:20 Also that is not rice but orzo a type of pasta. There is a meatball-rice dish called giouvarlakia but is more like a matzo-ball soup type of dish.
I am very much enjoying your channel , love the way you are teaching your children different cultures and experiences, your personalities are so lovely it makes watching these videos enjoyable and interesting.
So glad you're enjoying our channel! We have loved teaching our kids about different cultures around the world, exploring them in person instead of showing them in books or online. We've been traveling for 13 months while Homeschooling/ Worldschooling, currently in Japan but we'll be returning to our home of Las Vegas next week to visit family for a couple months then have plans for a 1 month one way cruise to Australia with 11 other full-time travel families!☺️🌎🛳
Thank you for acknowledging my comment I whish I had found your channel sooner (never too late) 13 months travelling what an experience! I will definately watch all and share with others because more people should be watching. They are searching the internet for information like I was, I wish you continued success so they too can experience your channel. You are an enchanting family so nice, down to earth and lovely to listen and watch you all ...Your videos are.. very relaxed but very informative . Keep up the good work. . and have a great time back home....A cruise to Australia how excitiing Your boys are so lucky to have such wonderful parents. They are learning so much a great education for them. Elizabeth from Canada
Thanks for watching Elizabeth, we hope to inspire others to travel more and especially with kids. The kids really are getting a great education while traveling and are actually a grade level ahead and of coursecway ahead on street smarts from traveling. Our oldest son Logan was afraid of elevators when we started traveling and now he's Zipliining over lakes! 😂🤣 We were concerned about being able to stay on a budget, but luckily, our year of travel actually ended up costing less than our previous year of expenses. I am finishing up our stay in Hawaii now, and the prices are insane. We can't consider it paradise here when the average person can't afford it! We plan to do more helpful travel videos in the future on budgeting and how to afford long-term travel. Before we started planning this, I never thought we would be able to do this for a year as a family, and here we are planning year 2! ☺️ Take care and have a wonderful day!
Great video! Iguanas bob their heads because it is showing dominance and territorial defense. Those ball pythons were super cute!! Also that tortoise seemed really friendly! The baby chameleon was ADORABLE!! Did any of the animals have names? What was your favorite reptile you saw? 🩷🐍😁
Thanks for watching Sadie! The owner of that place was so cool, and yes, he named at least some of them that he told us the names of. The one snake he had as a kid before he ever opened up the place! We love all reptiles, but our kids' favorites are Geckos! When we were living in the Philippines, we learned to live in Harmony with them because we had around a dozen inside our house and hundreds outside! 🦎🦎🦎🦎 If anyone who reads this comment loves retiles, definitely check out our friend Sadie's channel!☺️

Great that all the activities were so close together and could be done in the same day!
It's a great family day! Especially if you're staying in Rethymno like we were...
Yes, all we close activities were close as well as the Amazing restaurant we ate at!😋
❤😊
Loved all the Snakes and lizards and the caves were cool too!
The snakes were creepy at first, but we warmed up to them!🐍🐍
We had a ball python, "Medusa" for several years...she would sleep on my chest at night a lot of times. 🐍
Gorgeous & "fun" country for families to visit!🤗💕
Out of all the Greek Islands we've been to, we felt like Crete was the best for Families and had the most to do being the largest of their Islands..
Awesome channel! I’ve been enjoying your videos and they’re quite a change of pace from the usual travel blogger content on RUclips. Keep it up!

The sneaks look cool! My kids would be wanting one to keep as a pet 😅
