We live in an era where what is reasonable must also be complicated. So we disregard simple as incomplete. Yet this approach just leads you down a path of endless questions and no answers. As they say in The Powerless Rise "Simplicity is not a curse, when strength is humbled, and the powerless rise".
As I lay Dying has yet to disappoint me. None of the albums sound the same, they all have a bunch of amazing, well put together songs on them. This is easily one the best bands of the decade. Fabulous job.
I'm not a Christian and I won't judge them for their beliefs. All that matters to me is that they continue to put out badass music, which they do ten times over.
There is obviously many factors that could cause someone to do that. Lack of self-control, anger issues, drug abuse, depression, genetic or developed brain disorders, etc, etc.

as i lay dying closes the year 2011 beautifully.... while 2011 was a quiet year for metal... there were some amazing releases.... from times of grace, anthrax, megadeth, trivium and machine head..... .. thank you adam d!!!! and thank you as i lay dying for this awesome release!!!!
I have noticed that from As I lay Dying you get nothing but absolute excellence. The Powerless Rise is an amazing album and this sounds like it will be too. They've done it again.
They played this song when I saw them @ SLO BREW on Dec. 15, 2011. It was epic, I counted how many songs were on their set list and it was 15 songs. Pure adrenaline in that place. AILD for life.
