They released 6 albums between '68 and' 70 and were crushing it. The number of hits in such a short time was and is amazing.

Thank you for recognizing that they don't make music like this anymore. And the talent that existed back in the days of my generation. I hope you continue to explore.

Marvin Gaye’s single was impressive, as well as Gladys Knight and the Pips version…circa 1968

John Fogarty is a legend, as is CCR! So many hits!

“No don’t be over” is one of the most common responses to CCR songs ending.

You got robbed, the video cut off the rest of the song. It’s funny, you mentioned their smiles and energy, but in reality, they hated each other. A lot of the tension came from their manager Saul Zaentz who basically robbed CCR blind, played everyone against one another, and even sued Jong Fogarty for “sounding too much like CCR” when he released his solo hit “Old Man Down The Road”. John Fogarty was the founder, principal writer, and lead vocalist of the band. Of course he’s going to sound like himself. I don’t know the state of the music industry today, but it was cut-throat bullsh back then.

This song is actually a cover song. The song was originally sung by Gladys Knight& the Pips. The most famous cover of this song was by Marvin Gaye.

You need to take a look at either "I Put A Spell On You"(a cover from "Screamin Jay Hawkins") or "Born On The Bayou" from them If not more they have a great catalogue.

Fortunate Son is a CCR song used in many war movies.♥️

This is one of the best covers of this song. CCR nailed it and the album version turns into a 15 minute jam session with John Fogarty killing a guitar solo.

All Credence Clearwater Revival music is amazing, really amazing. They were so important in the movement against the war in Viet Nam. Even if you don't react to it online, just for you to listen too, they had hit after hit, after hit. Thanks for realizing how good they are. Love you.
