Back in black, highway to hell, Dirty deeds . You can't go wrong.
Big Balls LMAO
@beckyleavitt7808 I still have this on my playlist🤙
As long as the Bon Scott stuff is with Bon Scott!! Love Brian, but not a fan of him singing Bon's stuff.
Yes!! Dirty Deeds. Can I sit next to you girl. Just AC/DC in general. Can't get better than this
Dirty deeds for sure!!!
You pretty much described my teenage years perfectly. I remember cruising down the streets in my 81 firebird with the Windows down , long hair and blaring this song as loud as my radio would go.
My ‘69 Firebird filled to the brim with friends
My first Camaro, taking it downtown for every Rock band that came through Indy. Looking at all the LONG haired guys 😊❤.
You just described every guy I dated in high school!! Lol
I was 9 so no driving around with AC/DC or Iron Maiden in those days for me but I can do that now of course( and already did the past few years).
Back in Black as an album is one of the greatest albums ever! Every song is a banger!!
Angus Young on lead guitar actually wears a school uniform because when he was a kid in Australia he would head straight for his guitar after school, no time for changing 🎸🔔🔥
His sister did tell Angus to stay wearing his uniform.....even when he started playing full time with the band!.
I’m now 57 years old and grew up listening to this! So when you see us old ladies remember, this is the music we listened to!!
If you listen to the whole album, your hair will grow longer and you just randomly flip off people that listen to pop. You just lose control of certain things.😊
lmao
😂😂😂😂
ACDC High Voltage, Its a long way to the top. Best Bagpipes in a great hard rock song EVER.
If you like Bagpipes rock... Bags of rock was a great band...
The video where they are doing the Australian version of American Bandstand and the girls dancing around them is maybe one of the best videos on youtube. Prefer it over the one where they are on the back of the truck by quite a bit. It's been remastered now, and the video is called "It's a Long way to the Top" Promo Clip
Heatseeker is a banger
If you are watching long way to the top you need to watch the Bon Scott video. He is the original lead singer and he is playing the bagpipes.
Red hot chilli pipers m8 😊 @@robberrie677
Back in Black is a must from AC/DC
The 'noose' that you saw in the Thunderstruck video from River Plate is a foot rest for Brian Johnson at the beginning of this song. He stands in it swinging, ringing the bell... do yourself a favor and watch the River Plate version of this song and 'Highway to Hell'... you'll love it!!!
Yes!!!!!
I grew up in this era. We didn't take the music and culture for granted but it never occurred to us that it wouldn't last forever. In hindsight, this was the tail end of a multi-decade long era; a golden era in music 1940-1990. We knew music would change but thought it would just morph into something equally good ..... but it didn't. I feel very fortunate to have come of age in the 70s/80s.
Same 💯 ✌❤
well said dude I agree completely
What great music came out in 1940....what great powerful music came out before rock n roll? If you said 55-90 I would buy it but music was shit before rock n roll
@@emptyemptiness8372 The mid 40s is when the real/original R&B music started to get converted to rock with heavier sustained notes and bent strings by the likes of Chuck Berry, John Lee Hooker, and BB King, as the Boogie Woogies, B Bops, Gospel and Blue Grass was getting pushed aside in New Orleans, the mid 40s to mid 50s were more of a Rocking Blues era. Not exactly Rock, not exactly Blues.
I would start Rock and Roll a couple of years earlier in the 50s, and add a couple of extra years in the 90s until it briefly changed to Grunge which only lasted 5 years and completely destroyed R&R as we loved it and for some strange reason it completely disappeared for the last 20 years, somehow replaced by Swift, Miley, Kylie, Diddy, M&M, Bieber, and all sorts of other manufactured no talent rubbish.
Thank god Rock is being rediscovered, but will it ever go back to the glory days? I really hope it does.
First rule of AC/DC - never, never, never interrupt an Angus Young guitar solo.
In our day, it wasn't a party unless ACDC was playing
You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC is a classic! 🔥
The one thing that people either don't know or frequently forget is that AC/DC is, like Aerosmith, a blues band. Yeah, they've got everything cranked up to 15, the drums hit harder, the guitars scream louder, and there's more gravel in the singer's voice (regardless of which singer it is), but music is just down and dirty, nitty gritty blues.
Whenever I am feeling depressed, run down, incompetent, ect.......This album will rise you up. Make you feel better, make you walk and talk better, make you shoot pool better, and make the drive better. Just so many betters,....you have no choice but to rock you head, tap your foot, and feel that combination of Young, Rudd and Williams run down your spine. It is naturally invigorating and inspiring. A true tribute to Bon.
ACDC started out in the 70s. I was in high school and graduated 79, they were definitely doing concerts in the 70s
Skipped school to go to my friend's house to listen to this album, Back in Black. No way would my parents allow me to own an AC/DC album. I've never regretted that day. So pleased you wish music like this was still being made today.
THE WHOLE ALBUM IS BANGER< BANGER
‘I’m just driving down a road in Indiana - I don’t even live in Indiana’ lol 😂
😂
The song Back In Black is basically Gangsta Rock. For real.
Every song on the album is a banger, every single one!
Back in Black
I'm an Aussie, born & raised on this music, I'm eternally grateful that my folks never gave into "music bad" hype that hit the 80's. They loved rock, they loved Aussie Rock more and I grew up listening to all of it; music will never be the same.
me to, every weekend parents listened to AC/DC, Guns N roses, Queen
Saw AC/DC perform in St. Petersburg, FL in the late '90s. They not only had a real church bell for this song, but pirate-era cannons for "For Those About to Rock". Everything they did live was real, nothing synthesized. Great reaction!
AC/DC is Rock Legends. Angus could play the guitar falling down stairs and Brian sounds like he gurgles motoroil before bed!
-Try reacting to Airbourne from Australia aswell if you wanna see something similar but a bit faster paced. They are ready to carry the torch when AC/DC closes the show.
Or Rhino Bucket!! Their songs One night stand and Train Ride are heavily AC/DC influenced and absolute bangers!!
It's a long way to the top is a must❤
Glad to see the younger generations appreciating the great musicians of my era.
Time for a chat with your dad, Cliff! I'm sure he could point you to some great bands and music. So glad your giving the music that charted my youth a listen. Just hits so different!
ACDC Big Balls!
Lol 🤣 I love that song ❤
Beating around the bush.
The gradual increase in tempo is what makes the song for me. It's like each member of the band eases into the song and the band comes together as the music gets faster.
For those about to rock (we salute you) I'm an 85 baby, so I never saw this live, but my parents told me stories about them using cannons in their performances for this song....wild...and a great song
I was at a concert where they used the cannons and it was loud as hell but AWESOME!!!!!
Saw them in Frankfurt Germany in 1985... one of the cannons started a small fire, but nothing came of it.
Seen the many times over the years. still have my ticket stubb from the Back in Black tour, saw them in Boston.
All my 3 girls are AC/DCers. They never had a choice.
Cannons used for those about to rock....I couldn't hear for three days.... I was eigth row centers...Maple leaf gardens
The bell that they ordered for the tour of this album, Back in Black, is a fittingly sized 13 ton church bell made especially for them by bell-makers in London, England. The bell is the largest musical instrument ever used in a rock concert, and has become a staple and icon of the AC/DC tour. The bell rings an iconic 13 times in the song, with the feeling of the song meant as a hard rock send off for their lost brother Bon Scott. RIP Bon! Your music has NEVER died!
This gets EVERYONE jacked up, whether they admit it or not. Best hype music ever.
It was a 68 Chevy and yes cruising with this jamming did make you feel a certain kind of way.
My daughter says the same thing she was born in the wrong era. She was born 94. I was in my 20’s in the 80’s and we had killer music.
My daughter learnt to headbang at 6mths from me listening to accadacca ,rock on Perth Australia 🤟🇦🇺
I drove to school in 1980 with a 1977 Chevy pickup just blaring AC/DC! Back in Black has to be one of the best albums of all times.
wow, 1980 in my Firebird Convertible blasting this song, feeling like THE MAN, you must be psychic. I'm 63 now and have memories of the moment the cassette tape opened up those bells.
If not on video, listen to yourself AC/DC "Big Balls". There's a double for you. And that's still Bon Scott on lyrics. "Back in Black" was the first album since his death, so first for Brian on the vocals.
Song is absolutely hilarious!! Very coy...
AC/DC just go through their best songs, you’ll love it no matter what
In 1980, I was 18 in growing up in Southern California driving a blue 1970 Ford Torino GT with a 351 Cleveland, cowl induction, Holley 4 barrel, police suspension, etc. with the music of time blowing out my Jensen speakers…life was good…respect…
ACDC are legends!!
"For those about to rock (we salute you)" live - from the 2009 concert is an excellent choice.
Yes that’s an awesome one 🎉
Saw AC/DC in February 1982 in Denver and they opened the show with this song. Greatest 1st concert you can have.
U need to hear Bon Scott, he was original lead singer but passed away. Dirty Deeds, For Those About to Rock, TNT are personal favorites
Possibly the best Aussie band ever!!
Seen them live black in black tour... amazing
It's a long way to the top (if you wanna rock N roll) is my favorite ACDC song
Love how you are going back to classics 🎉❤
Yes , More Please 😁 "Back in Black" & "Big Balls" .... Much love to ya ❤
Cliff, "Big Balls" is goofy but it's hilarious lol. #acdc
Long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll.... classic AC/DC
You hit the nail on the head. Mustang and Mullet = Business in the Front but Party in the Back. That's how we did things in the 1980s
Back in Black and Dirty Deeds
AC/DC’s beloved lead singer, Bon Scott, had recently died, and they almost quit. However, they brought In Brian Johnson and came out with Hells Bells, a tribute to their friend, Ronald Belford Scott, taken way too soon.
You should check out Bon’s AC/DC next-Highway to Hell is full of bangers. The first time I heard them, I was 15, hearing “Girl’s Got Rhythm” at the local roller skating rink. That would be a great one to start with.
You mentioned AC/DC gets you "jacked up." Well, if you really want to get jacked up, check out She's Got The Jack. Its a very wholesome song about a woman who obtains a jack to lift her car so she can change a tire.😅
Well, I definitely don't want that kinda "jack" 😂😂
And Whole Lotta Rosie 😂
😂😂😂
welcome to our childhood and welcome to the AC/DC Rabbit hole!!! enjoy the trip Whole lotta of Rosie live a river plate 2009 is definitely worth the time
AC/DC - One of the best bands to come out of Australia 🇦🇺. Whole Lotta Rosie from the 2009 Riverplate concert. I really think you'd love that one...😂
😂😂 I remember being 8 years old in the early 80's and putting this record on. Let's just say my mind and soul were blown. Game over after that. Best band ever.
Yeah definitely do the album! 😎
1980,1972 Chevy Nova doing a burnout outta the school parking lot with this song blaring from the Pioneer super tuner. Life was good.
I would kill to see your reaction to "Big Balls"!
Saw them in concert 2 times, amazing group. I graduated in 96... for my 22 birthday my dad got us tickets to their concert. He was a 83 guy so he did exactly as you said.
The 80's Era is still the.....(BEST-Ever)!!! I grew up 2 HEAD-BANGN Jams. Graduated in,"86".Had a "68" Nova That......WHOPPED That ASS🤙
You absolutely nailed the feeling of the song with the Camaro or Firebird and the Jean jacket or the leather jacket just giving it hell flying not giving a shit about anything ready for anything. It was such a time and feeling of freedom. Go out cruise around and smoke a joint to this Andreas jam! Life was good!
my girlfriend (dj) and I (ran the lighting system) for a decent sized rock and roll club and went to a lot of concerts together back in the day. AC/DC songs were some of the most requested songs we got at that time. saw AC/DC live in 81 or 82. they were the only band we ever saw that after leaving the concert, neither of us could hear for 3 days, lol. oh, the memories!
That my friend is pure rock ‘n’ roll! This is the stuff that blows the speakers in your car!
I saw them at Veterans stadium in the mid 80s, could not hear right for days, love every minute of it.
Shout out from across the lake in Chesterton Indiana. The 80's were an amazing time to grow up. You just described my teenage years. ❤
🤘 💀 🤘
Must hear 2 of the best love ever from AC/DC
Touch to Much and Giving the Dog a Bone.
FYI That bronze bell was specifically made for AC/DC. They tried to record a bell already in a belfry. They did not have satisfactory results with the equipment back then. A bellmaker was commissioned to make one exclusively for the band.
You explained it perfectly. I was that kid with a mullet cruising down a back road in rural Maine cranking this shit! I wish I was hearing this for the first time.
What you described about driving to and from school jamming this is exactly what I did with me and my friends and especially junior year went to JVS and I drove a 63 Ford galaxy that we’ll see about 14 comfortably. We would burn down all the way to school. I got kicked out twice that year. Ended up going back to my home school the next year but we listen to a lot of AC/DC and Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath and Boston and we had a good time, my mom wasn’t very happy with me during those days but I was having a good time. Thank God my son didn’t grow up like me.
This is what I grew up on during the 70s and 80s great rock and metal
Back in Black is definitely an AMAZING album start to finish. Turn it up to 11 and let it rip until the end. No weak tracks. This came out when I was a freshman in high school and I listened to it at least once every day for a year. I can't even count the number of times I have listened to this album in my life. Pushing 60 and I still pop the CD in the car crank it and rock out just like 40 years ago and maybe rock out a couple tickets too much. ACDC is nothin fancy, just straight forward rock and roll at it's best.
The "For those about to Rock" tour in Mobile, Alabama in Jan.1982 was my first time seeing them live, Awesome show!
When you listen to AC/DC, please imagine how hyped the skating rink was back then. The drive there and back also.
Yes you need to listen to the rest of this album!! One of the greatest selling rock albums of all time. 🖤
Haha. 1983 in a restored 1965 Mercury Comet, glasspacks, split exhaust, rolling into the high school parking lot or cruising the boulevard. AC/DC Back in Black was our school song. It even sounded bada$$ when the HS band played it (electric guitar accompanying). Completely different world.
Anything from River Plate is a must-watch. The crowd shots are insane. Besides the usual suggestions below, you'll love "Whole Lotta Rosie". Welcome to our era of music - it cannot be topped. Great reaction!
Got to love ACDC, you can't go wrong with them
Back in Black was the first studio album AC DC release after the original lead song Bon Scott passed away .
Great tribute to their lead singer for 6 years the fabulous Bon Scott
AC/DC always makes me feel good!
Hells bells is the greatest opening track from any album of all time
You cracked up with your high school and Firebird comment. I graduated in 86 and drove a gold Pontiac Trans am with T-tops if you know what those are . My friends and I drove with the tops off, wind through our hair, my Kenwood slide-out radio playing and cranking these tunes on our way to school and on the way home. Dam those were good times. Thanks for bringing me back for a minute. Got a tingle reliving that for a second. Much success to you.
I saw AC DC in 1991 Razors Edge concert in Jacksonville Florida and I have to say this is one of my favorite songs Hells Bells and they have a huge bell that came down and it was being wrung which was awesome.
I saw these guys rehearse back in the day. One of the tightest bands I've ever witnessed. I learned to play guitar back in the 80s thanks to Angus and Mal (RIP).
You can't really go wrong with these guys. Hard rock! This is all they do. Should add, considering the depth of their catalog, also the most consistent band ever.
ACDC's whole catalogue is like this...50 odd years of it and not a ballad in sight.
I watched them play in Maryland in a 200 person bar singing this song back then! Awesome show!
This reminds me of high school with friends cruising in a friends camaro or other late 60s car listening to AC/DC, Cheap Trick, Styxx passing a left hander or pipe around.
i saw ac/dc 1983 fly on the wall tour in denver colorado my first concert going lone as a teenager ...those about to rock was the closing song ..i could see the sound wave from the nose bleeds when the cannons when off .....of course i had a pocket of joints...great concert it was ...cheers cliff have a good one bro..oh yeah i was 13 ...lol
"Walking into greatness"
Mate your statement was bang on !
On ya mate.Even
Maybe the best ever intro line to a song.Wow 😮
AC/DC this song is so fun in the car on a long drive. Angus is da man! 🔥🔥🔥
I remember blasting that song to and from High school ACDC is timeless.
This was the album after their original lead singer died. Everyone thought that AC/DC would end, but then along came Brian Johnson and a whole new era started. I started listening to AC/DC as a teen in 1976
The 80s were theee best!!! Every rocker/ stoner and burnout knows this sing as soon as those bells ring!! 🔔 🔔 🎶 🎵 😊😊
Growing up back in the 70's were a blast. Listening to all this great music in the 77 mustang driving to the lake with the guys to meet up with girls. Those were the days!
Saw them three times as a teen growing up in Seattle. Good times, those 80’s year of Rock !
AC/DC ❤💪
Back in black. Was the first tape I ever bought.I was lucky enough to see ACDC in Seattle In 1980s when they were on tour . I got a little too drunk, but it was a great concert.
My ears rang for two days after seeing them, the loudest concert I ever heard.
