I'm originally from Washington State and have been to many of these places in your video..... I found an old Harley with a sidecar up in Bellingham and will be riding back to Jacksonville Florida next month...... Me dog Jack and I are going to have a big adventure .... I bought a GoPro and would love to be able to film the trip half as well as you do ...... love all your advice and comments, keep it up an be safe.
Hi Tim,My daughter and I done Olympic but not motorcycle, flew into Seattle from Ohio rented car and went on 5 day road trip ,camping overnight in our tents, best time ever! We didn't do ferry, never thought about🙁. We seen all the places you did,oh the memories! Just got my new R1200 GS going to see all 48 states and Alaska on it in the next few years.. Love your channel, starting to get camping stuff. Retirement rapidly approaching can't wait for my adventure to start this winter!.
Great to see what the Olympic peninsula had In store. I planned to tour it this summer when I rode out there from Minnesota but spent my time instead in the Providence Medical center for an emergency appendectomy and missed out on getting to ride the Olympic peninsula. Hurricane ridge looked to be every bit as good of a ride as it looked to be on the map. Tim your videos are truly becoming some of the best out there. Music selection is always spot on, editing is on point and the composition of your shots really pulls the viewer into the experience. Simple things like the filming of your footsteps on approach and panning up to the view make your videos so much more of an experience to watch. Thank you for your amazing content. The hard work you put into it shows.
🤗OMG!🤗Fantastic🥰!Love the scenery of the Rainforest. I've never traveled there or even knew about it. Great footage of the mountains, wildlife, ferry - everything - wishing I was riding alongside with you on this journey. You keep inspiring me as well ☺️! Thank you, Tim, for sharing. Ride safe and enjoy your adventures. (Now I have a new destination to put on my list 😉🏍).
Got to finally watch this series....man, you missed the best part of Hurricane Ridge. There is a dirt road just as you hit the top...right before the parking lot. Heads out to Obstruction Point. Nice smooth groomed road. Spectacular views, ground hogs, deer elk...way better than you get at the visitors center...on a clear day you can see Canada or early morning usually a blanket of fog like looking down at the clouds. But yeah, bummer you missed it. Its a left turn if head up.
Road construction around the lake, yes its been a 3 year project, but its all but done now. I drive it once a week. On a bike is the best, can't wait till summer. Again thanks for the videos. Great stuff. Next time you are out this way, I'll have to show you some cool Dual Sport roads in the Solduc area.
Hi Tim from New Zealand. Once again enjoyed your show and particularly your choice of music. It must take a lot of effort to consistently come up with sources appropriate and suitable for your sketches. Well done mate....Woudn't it be cool if we didn't have to worry about royalty free music. Image how dynamic free choice would be.
Your comment about liking ferries reminds me of a trip I took this summer I don’t have a lot of time and I don’t have a lot of money. I don’t even have a motorcycle but I like to rent cars and go out on Long Island (I live in Brooklyn, NY which is actually part of Long Island...)and explore places that I remember hearing about when I was growing up or places that I actually was. So this summer I went out to Orient point which is on the northern Fork of the eastern end of Long Island and it was pretty special for me because I may have been out there when I was a kid but I don’t really remember but this was me seeing it through my eyes as an adult. I stopped off by a place where they can catch fairies and there was a motorcycle that was rigged up like yours with the saddlebags and the over the tank bag and the town center bag on the back of the bike it was all ready for long trips and I thought of you. I may never own a motorcycle but I will take trips that I plan on my own. Some of the planning that I do is improved by listening to you another blogger, Amanda Zito. You too have taught me a lot about planning trips but more importantly I’m having realistic expectations as to what I can and can’t do on these trips that I take and has made my trips very enjoyable. Thank you very much.
These two vidoes showed my what I missed by opting to go a different way on my trip last May and June. I will plan a trip to just ride in this region and get to spend several days instead of just riding through based on what I saw on your channel. I am in NC so it was the most distant part of my trip. Unfortunately, needing tires and visiting other sites took me away from this area. Great videos. Safe riding!!!
Beautiful! 5 years in Washington and I never made it out to the peninsula. I’m gonna have to fix that. Ferry rides are a kick. I sure miss those lush forests. You’ve done a wonderful job of capturing the breathtaking scenery. Makes me a little homesick... in a good way. Thanks always for sharing your adventure.
Buddies and I rode through the peninsula a few years back. As is always the case in our rides, the weather is never what it should be. Example, when riding in the desert SW during the dry season of February a few years back, it snowed. In the Olympic Penisula we camped at the HO Rainforest... but couldn't have a camp fire because a burn prohibition was in effect. A burn ban in a rain forest?? Are you kiddin' me??
Liked the ferry ride. I was also on one recently that is believed to be the last "wooden double stern-wheel paddle boat" to be operating in the U.S. So always cool to experience.
Nice video!! Wish I would of found your channel awhile back! I live on the Olympic Peninsula! In Port Angeles!! Could have shown you a few other places and some cool areas! Ride safe and have fun! Love your channel!
Awesome rainforest series Tim, you’ve perhaps addressed in another video how you handle personal hygiene in those remote camp spots without bathroom facilities, using the toilet in particular? Are there regulations for that kinda of thing?
Beautiful stuff Brother! I'm looking fwd to getting back to the PNW one day. I have a friend in OR that I need to go see, or at least that's my excuse, lol. I'm not a city fan, but of all the major ones I've visited (15+), Seattle and Philly are my favorites. Thanks for bringing us along!
You rode right past my house, crazy! I'm surprised you took the Bremerton ferry instead of the Bainbridge Island to Seattle boat. Either way, you have video riding right past my house and through Kitsap County.
Great video, did you ever find a Big Bend sticker?. I live in Texas and would be happy to get you a great one when I see them and send it to you 👍. ✊️👊✊️👊
They are a good deal, I will talk more about this soon. If money isn't an option you might want to get something that lasts a little longer. Only got 8k out of the rear tires. Almost 20k front but got some weird wear patterns that affected handling at the end of the tires life span.
I was wondering where you got your sheep skin seat cover. I've considered getting one but not sure from whom is the better option. Oh! could you date your videos so we know what time of the year you're at these places. I loved this video. I haven't been in that area in years. Ride safe. Darryl
What a great video. I went back and watched both again back to back. So relaxing. I could only dream of doing that. How did you go getting somewhere to sleep that evening after the ferry ride? You were in the thick of the city right there!
You find such great music for your videos. That is another reason why I enjoy them Ride on, Tim!
Thanks Carl! It takes a lot of time so I appreciate that you enjoy it!

Welcome to the Pacific NW. Been here since 1972. No place better. Ride safe!
I would have been skipping rocks until my shoulder hurt on that beach! Beautiful park for sure.

Great vid. Loved the primeval Hoh Rainforest. Can't believe you didn't see the velociraptor stalking you in the background.
That sure is a rainforest!!! The ocean and those mountain views. Added to my list to check out one day.
I wasn't aware of the Amazon locker option, thanks for the tip!
So beautiful! Hiking and camping in the Olympic and Cascade mountains is the best! Ride on!

Wow they make us strap the bikes down on the Lake Michigan ferry.

Thanks my friend! Yes, Amanda makes some great videos. Ride safe.
Great videography. I grew up in western Washington. Pictures of home.
Next time you are in the area, take the Kingston/Edmonds fairy much nicer. And you should have camped on the good side (Kitsap/Olympic).
Yep! Outstanding Tim. Rider's, come see us in the PNW (leave your car, ride your bike please). :))
Seattle? Interesting place for sure. Mt. Rainer was amazing to see
Let me know next time you are passing through. We are in Port Angeles right near the gate to Hurricane Ridge. Lots of fun fire roads to explore.
You are blessed to be able to live your dream and see such beautiful country. Thanks for sharing. Good mix of video and audio. Chin up, wheels down...
Thanks Edd!

I never knew there was a rain forest in America! One day I'll ride up to the great wet NW. Great footage.
Great series. Love your videos and choice of music is excellent!.
A very nice ride! rode rt2 from Boston to almost Neah bay. Corona kept me out of Neah. then down 101. Spectacular!

Great video Tim. This was an awesome way to start my day.
Hello Tim ... from the ocean to snow-covered mountains, from the green jungle to the urban jungle .... Have fun. Greetings from Michael from Germany!
This video is a dime!! One of my favorites so far, thank you Tim! I hope the east coast is treating you well!! ✌🏼
Thank you!
Muy bonito todo como siempre.....Saludos desde Vigo (España)
Liked the ferry ride. I was also on one recently that is believed to be the last "wooden double stern-wheel paddle boat" to be operating in the U.S. So always cool to experience.
Another great video. Been on that ferry on foot when I lived in Seattle. Never taken a motorcycle on a ferry though.
Absolutely wonderful 😎
Gotta love the PNW. Keep the vids coming Tim. Safe travels and all the best.
Tim thanks for sharing your passion for adventure. Best channel ever. The journey is the destination!

Why is your comment only one he didn't heart?
love your videos, tim; you truly have an amazing skill in content production & quality. my helmet's off to you.
Another great video Tim. stay safe out there
I remember taking a ferry. It was cool, first time i ever did that back in '05.
I was also in those areas this summer :-) really great video! I love the pan out from the creek, though the flora, then then wider angle. Very nice!
Amazing brother
Awesome. Really cool ride and ferry trip.
I loved that ferry ride though I went the other way. 👍
Great scenery Tim, the front shots of u on the bike while your going down the road r great. Do you use a gimbal, it looks very professional.

You live in a beautiful area!
"Find somewhere to sleep ". I was hoping to see how that worked out .
Motel 😕 not a good one either, maybe one of the worst I've been in. Low budget.
Yikes! Keep that bike close .... 🙏
This is the ride I want to do this summer. Thankfully I live in Washington state so it might actually happen lol
Great video, did you ever find a Big Bend sticker?. I live in Texas and would be happy to get you a great one when I see them and send it to you 👍. ✊️👊✊️👊
Thanks! Never did get that sticker. Coming back in a few months though, that's the plan anyways.
Did you take the Port Townsend Ferry to Seattle, or Bremerton to Seattle? I always love riding the ferry across the Sound.
Dang you are at video maker Professional level. I have been to places like those but need more next summer.
Thank you!
Loved this. I miss the PNW so much. Well done!
Thank you!
Where can I find the music you used in this video? So tranquil!
Hey Tim, What do you for work? How do you fund your travels???
Hi Tim, love the videos. I’m wondering how the Shinko 705’s are doing for you? Are they living up to the expectations? Thanks

check out deer park next time you are up that way
Will do, thanks!
So if your ever in Tennessee contact me, I live in the middle Tennessee stop for a rest and good company and start out fresh. Love your videos.
I was wondering where you got your sheep skin seat cover. I've considered getting one but not sure from whom is the better option. Oh! could you date your videos so we know what time of the year you're at these places. I loved this video. I haven't been in that area in years. Ride safe. Darryl
Google Alaska Leather. I have one of their short hair covers for my dual sport . . . no need for an after-market seat.
@@NWind-go9qn I got mine at Egle's Sheep Farm they have web site with large on line store.
What a great video. I went back and watched both again back to back. So relaxing. I could only dream of doing that. How did you go getting somewhere to sleep that evening after the ferry ride? You were in the thick of the city right there!
Thanks Brett! I ended up in a motel that night, I had errand to run in the city that day.
👍
Gud ride
Hey Tim... what jacket is that your wearing in this video?
Klim Dakar, pretty happy with it.
@@FTAAdventures KLIM.... $$$ Looks like you have something over it??
@@captsam54 it's their entry level jacket, not super expensive... considering. No don't think I had anything over it.
這個國家公園看起來還真不錯!
也許將來應該辦個美國國家公園年票,好好地去看看那些國家公園。
