Wow, great job Terry!! Me and my brother that lives in newberry florida are going to try our luck on the treasure coast pretty soon. I live in New England and have found many Spanish silver coins over the years, not too old, I think the oldest was 1742. I’m definitely going to buy your book. Talk to you soon

Terry, enjoying your Treasure coast stories. I have gone there 4 or 5 times to detect and only have found clad. It is about 100 miles for me to get there so I have to plan for it. Some day I hope to hit something meaningful on the beach there but not yet. I’m going to get your book for some advice. Keep up the You Tube videos as they are helpful and motivational to those of us who have been skunked!

The majority of the 1715 Fleet ships were not even built by Spain, but England or Netherlands and were purchased by their owners. After the war of Spanish succession, Spain did not have enough navel vessels for the undertaking of a yearly fleet so Philip remedied this by letting contracts go to owners of private armed merchant ships called a registro. Because so many of these ships were purchased or prizes they had been renamed, add to that the Spanish had a propensity for giving their ships two names as well as nicknames, which has made identification of these ships incredibly difficult. In fact we only know two for certain.
Anyway stay safe. Don’t worry about the kids glued to their phones. It’s their loss.
Thank you soo much for helping the sea turtle. I really appreciate that.

Terry great video I'm just starting into the metal detecting field at 61 haven't found my gold ring yet I have two Sovereign GT machines one brand new in the box and a old use one that I got at the pawn shop that I'm using. I yet have found a video unless I'm missing it where it shows how to set it up for the beach I know you're the master with this machine is there a video or a book or something helps you can share to get started with this some people say hunt in the all-metal mode some say to use the discriminant mode I have the stock coil and I want to upgrade to a larger one like you use in the video, I can't see which one you're using . if there is a book or something you can help me with techniques you know stuff like that I would certainly purchase it in a minute I'm also and the Amazon site ordering your book now but as far as the Sovereign GT I wish there was some book or something video that you made by you the witch show how to get it set up I want to get that first gold ring it looks like you're using off 17 inch coil but I'm not quite sure if that's the one I should get for my keep on writing and keep on posting we all love you thanks p.s. maybe you can share some of your tricks also haha

Marty Vecchioni , don’t buy too huge or too big coil , they wont scan any deeper, just more covering ground. But, also more signals with trash and minerals like the salt on the beach. , and stick to the nel tornado coils like a 12/13 inch. They are perfect. I walk the treasure cost of Holland, found similar like terry, also the real and not the escudo😢 And Many, many more. On our coast are more then a few hundred schipwrecks . Oldest coin 1128. Your settings? You have to find out your self. Try, learn your sovereign. These machines are unbeatable! Tip,,, you tube channel “ man alone outdoors” he can learn you all you have to know about a sovereign/ excalibur. About 9 month’s ago, at least 2 movies with tricks. And if you like,,,, give him Some credits. Regards to you and also to terry. Jeffrey, Terschelling island the netherlands.
Ps if you ever need service on your sovereign,, specialist in the UK,, MSR, Steve cox, and he can also update / ad 2.6 inch to your sov. He is minelab autorised! Bye,,,,,, 💪🏼👍🏻

Marty Vecchioni , WoW,,,,, brand new??? Where do you get it? And what do you pay for it? If i may ask . The sov elite and gt are out of production for Many years. I just bought about 3 months ago a control box sovereign elite that Has never left the shop. Also brand new. It’s the same as gt . The gt they put just a xtra switch on it and give that a name. Minelab pump new life in it with this feature for again sell the product. Still have same functions. Elite is more like excalibur. Can also do the silent search. No accu track . But they are all one of the best beach machines. DEEEP!!!! If your settings are right! 😉👍 make it hip or chest mount, put carbon fiber rod on it and its so light weight. Ok regards and stay save in this crazy times. Jeff

I was lucky enough to Google it and found it through some guy in I think it was Switzerland or a place like Belgium I offered him 900 with shipping and I was shocked as hell but it came brand new in the box everything to batteries never used sealed up I mean I was shocked too so I love the machine I'm going to get out there today I'm going to Cocoa Beach Florida I ordered a Nell 12 x 13 storm coil I got a D tech ed red shaft I put it on that I ordered a sovereign handle the hold and I got to Equinox cuff and put it all together and it went together perfectly so yep I got a brand new Sovereign GT brand new coil Brandy shaft and I got a meter to go along with it wish me luck I got all these beautiful machines and never found a ring yet hahaha I'm 61 years of age today's the day of course my wife makes fun of me and tells me this she thinks it's funny that I go out and pick up trash off the beach
