Mushoku tensei isn't about Rudeus becoming a good person, it's about him getting to be a person at all, something he had taken away in his past life. He has friends, a family, a job, a goal, people rely on him, he has enemies, he has flaws. He thought he was an adult in a child's body, but he really only had two childhoods and twenty years of the inside of his room.
I definitely agree about your statement that he really only had two childhoods and 20 years of hiding in his room. I think, coming out of his room and making himself useful to his new family, and the society he's living in now is a huge step forward. and I think that from a societal standard that would make him a better person for sure.
How could you not mention the extreme bullying that lead to Rudeus being a hikikomori. He became withdrawn because all the abuse he experience in high school. At one point they stripped him naked and tied him up at the front of the school. The trauma was so bad it carried into the next life. It took a lot for Rudeus to face his trauma and to leave his home.
Thanks for another banger! Great editing to!
Thank you!

true, he did receive a lot of bullying and trauma. But he still did what it took to overcome it.
Hitogami didn't give him a chance. He wasnt even involved in Rudeus getting isekai'd.
True, Hitogami didn’t summon him or anything like that. But he made a point of targeting him as a pawn since he couldn’t see his path.
Bro I regret watching this anime the trauma it gave me 😭
Rip Paul. That definitely was a gut punch.
