all I ask is Microsoft and Asobo properly adding quad views/dynamic foveated rendering into MSFS 2024 that's it, get that right I'm in
As I always do, I will wait and let others test and update it for me until it runs smoothly. Did the same with MSFS2020, came in just at the right time and by the looks of it, saved myself lots of frustrations.
We can fly to remote places and then go on a hike. Amazing.

Let's hope this edition doesn't have 16 updates over 4 years. I'm pretty sure 2024 will be more reliable than 2020 🙏
Some things I don't care for like a "career mode" priority. I like flying wherever I want and the type of aircraft I choose.
Also, the Ai is kind of wonky since United doesn't fly to JFK but to Newark and LaGuardia Airports instead.
Mission/career mode is optional.
This is a no brainer preorder buy! Looks fantastic, can't wait. Sign me up! Thanks for the heads up.

Looks amazing! Mark could you do a video on desktop and vr recommended system requirements when you know? That would be great intel. My understanding is that it will be more efficient and not need a monster system, particularly with desktop.

I assume you are referring to FS2020 it was nowhere near the first sim by them. Only a little while ago they splurged on the 40TH anniversary edition. Seems like they are still learning how to make an aircraft behave correctly in a flight simulator. Way too much time and money spent on the fluff and bling instead of what really matters in a "Simulator".
"First game" -- I assume you mean "Flight Simulator" from 1980 (before this was a MS product). Awesome for its time. And yes, they've learned a thing or two since then, and yes, it will be better.

Super Excited! Thanks for the excellent video. I understand that the add-ons I purchased in 2020 will carry over to 2024 - Correct? Also will I be able to have both on my Xbox Series X and play 2020 one day and 2024 the next. The reason I ask is that now that 2020 seems stable on the Xbox, I would want to keep it aroung till they iron out the kinks o 2024. Thank you in advance.
