Wow. Awesome video, as usual. I always stop, but last time when they looked dodgy I took their photo, uploaded to Facebook and told em that way if they rob me they'll be caught lol. Ended up having beers with them at the pub I drove em to...
Generally I do too unless I'm in NJ or NYC. Then I assess the situation. I'm not allowed to carry a gun there and taking a knife to a gun fight is no good.
Thank you for sharing, and the nice intro music👍. As for stopping, my husband always told me to just call police/or tow truck, let them come help, because you just never know.
I was there about 40years ago. Looks a bit different now! Another great video mate. You know that law about visiting the local bakery? Well I think it should be a law that you need to keep making videos! You have a talent that would be a crime to waste. All the best.
Coral bay is one of the most beautiful little towns along the west coast! I haven’t even watched it yet and I’m smashing the like button, this is bound to be a great video 😝
Hey mate love to know what drone setup you have. Your footage is top notch. You must put a lot of effort into getting those shots then turning around and picking up your cameras.
Oh Michael Your excellent footage brings back memories of my stay in Coral Bay in July this year. Gotta be my favourite spot on the W.A. coast. Best part about it is, you don’t need a boat at Coral Bay. Just wade in off the beach and you’re surrounded by fish and amazing coral everywhere. If you’re still in the area, a great place to overnight is Bullara station, about 70 clicks NE up the road. Legendary burgers on Friday nights! Thanks, really enjoy your posts 🐨🌷
Wow i can`t believe how clear the water is over there even on a windy day, every time i to the beach were i live it`s full of jellys and murky, man those fish and coral absolusely beautiful, you have inspired me so to go snorkelling , thanks mate :)
Thanks - great post. If you check out the Lock Picking Lawyer you will get the strait on all the trailer/wheel/hitch locks. I use a big chain and keyed padlock. Enjoy!!! Bob
Dunno if you do this or not but when backing your trailer into the water, unplug the wire harness. If you have the old style bulbs they will shatter if the water hits them. Not sure with LEDs, they're probably sealed.
I used to stop almost all the time to help. Yes, I agree that we need to be cautious these days. My motto is to help whenever we can but with caution, as you said.
Yall have the nicest boat ramps ever !!! I live in Destin Florida and we dont have anything that nice , hehe.....Water looks the same but our boat ramps are terrible.
Nice to see that you put a trailer lock on your boat trailer. I'm 50/50 with helping out others when I'm driving on my own from Jurien bay to Perth or Geraldton. I do slow down a bit and check them out. But with my job, sometimes in the middle of the night I get phone calls on people that ran out of fuel, I have two 10L jerry cans on standby to come out my car (because I have the gear to help them) and put fuel in their car so they can get into town to a servo. They do refund me for the fuel as well which is good. :)
Nice one Michael. Do I stop? Depends on the situation. I would say always but roughly 2 weeks ago, for the first time ever, I didn't stop. I came across 2 blokes wandering along a dirt road out the back of Mundaring that tried to wave me down. There was no vehicle in sight, they were both bigger than me & they looked a bit rough around the edges. It was about 10km back to the Hwy & I was on my own. On instinct I slowed down a little then I realized they could easily make it to help & there was also a farm house about halfway to the Hwy, so I kept going. If there was a vehicle in sight or I wasn't alone, I would have stopped for sure but these days, sometimes you have to think of the worst case scenarios & act accordingly.
Hi im always enjoying your video. And i learn lots of tips for my 4x4 driving. I have some question to ask im going to karijini, ex mouth and coral bay region during mid september and i want to do some bush camping during travel, is there any tips and spots you could share with me? Its my first time to travelling northern part of WA and i really want to do some bush campings. Plz help👍
I stop for everyone, it’s the Australian thing to do and in a lot of circumstances it can be deadly if you don’t. I am forever grateful of the German couple that stopped for me last year after I had an accident and I was walking along the road. If they hadn’t who knows how much longer I would’ve been there for.
I picked up a walker on Stockton Beach the other day. My wife and dog where very glad when he got out. Got to think twice when the dog instantly doesn't like them
Same thoughts as you mate on the stranger danger. The way the world is today it’s harder to trust people . You gotta work out if they genuine or they trying to rob ya . Gotta be very careful these days 👍
Weight depends on body weight, i use 4 3pound weights with a full steamer and that seems to work really well. Trial and error though. Another great video mate loving your channel.
I’ve stop for someone that had crash there road bike,he ended up nearly stealing my car (left my keys in it as I got out fast to help) found out by the cop that he had stole the motorbike
If it's a petrol regardless of age it will die without alternator input as the coils will drain the battery for the spark plugs. Old Diesels should keep going though
Like you say, you need to do a really quick assessment of a situation that could put you in danger. If in doubt, don't stop. If you are in phone reception you could put a call in to emergency services and be helpful without risking yourself and your rig. If there's any doubt or you have a gut feeling, don't stop. Saying that, always stop for 3 spanish girls! hahahaha
I have a question for you Michael. Have you ever had anything stolen off your rig? You’ve got so much gear there, and it would be only too easy to get into the back while you’re out snorkeling, shopping or just parked up somewhere. Any comments? Thanks.
As an auto sparky/fitter that spends a majority of his time driving around the remote parts of the Pilbara, I always feel obligated to at least stop and check. During the hot months, it can be a matter of life or death through lack of preparedness. I feel a little safer in the fact I’m 6’5 and 120kgs, I just hope they would pick an easier target.
I normally don't pull over, one situation it was in the middle of summer in the 100's, my wife and I were driving on the highway and notice a SUV on the side of the highway. I pass it and we look over to our right and my wife said they have a baby, I got off the next exit and went to a gas station, got cold water for them and went back to the location where the vehicle was at. At the vehicle there was a 3 month baby boy and two ladies, we gave the mother and her baby a ride home, her friend stood behind to wait for her brother to come and hopefully get the vehicle running again, I'm glad we stop to help cause they were in a bad situation.
On my way from Uluru to Coober Pedy last January, I saw a broken down car on the side of the road at 9:30pm. They have waved me but I’ve ignored them for my security (I was on my own). After few hundreds meters I’ve made a u turn and drove back to them- 3 aborigines, 2 guys and 1 lady. They said they ran out of petrol so I took from them $10 to buy them a petrol in Marla, 5km away. When they have asked me if they can come with me but I’ve refused by thought they might try to rob me or something. I came back to them with the petrol in some jerrycan that they gave me. I could only see one of them near the car and he yelled to someone that I couldn’t see in the bush . I’ve asked him where are the other 2 guys and he said they have walked up the road to Marla. Well, I was driving with high beam and I didn’t see them. Then this guy asked me to place my car so my engine is next to his engine in order to jump start him. Then I started to feel unconfident. I’ve just jumped in my car and drove away to Coober Pedy without saying anything to him. He probably thought I’m jumping in my car in order to jump start him Lol. I felt so relieved when I drove away...
I have never had an issue stopping. What I tell people who are unsure or can't stop is to phone the local police ( NOT 000 ) that way they will get help if needed and busted if not genuine.
Good vid, thanks bloke. Stopping to offer assistance? Depends. If I have the family or any of the kids on board, usually not for male hitchhikers. However I have stopped for other families and ladies when I have the kids on board. But no hard and fast rules, case-by-case.
always stop mate no matter who they are, i was so disapointed this year when i blew my motor out of balidonia and no one stopped to offer assistance, would of been nice to get to the road house to wait for the tow truck. did you go to coral bay by yourself?
Also, speaking as a professional diver, I would recommend not snorkelling from a boat solo. There could be tides & currents etc that could take you from the boat and without boat cover, you may find yourself in difficulties. Always have a method of self rescue if diving/swimming off shore solo. Keep the vids coming matey and stay safe!
Bilal Tying yourself to the boat could work as long as you didn’t want to go to far from the boat. Rip currents aren’t really a problem a problem further out / off shore and neither are deep water currents. Saying that though, I’ve been in a situation in the Maldives where I was doing a safety stop at 6m and got caught in a current and was dragged to a depth of 25m very quickly and was then pulled along a narrow channel into open ocean. Myself and my fellow diver then had to wait over an hour at the surface before our surface boat found us. Probably the worst situation I’ve been in as a diver. Possibly not a situation a lone snorkeler would find themselves in but in could happen, which is why I would never snorkel alone, off shore, without surface cover.
I pull over & help. Some Japanese Tourists bought a cheap Lemon car in Perth only to have it blow the gear box before they made it Lancelin on a Long weekend. Not one car passing by while I was there slowing down & only blew their horns to say get out of the way.First thing I did was get the car away from the road more as they were right on the edge.Next I assessed the problem & knowing it was Terminal I took the driver into Lancelin & got a tow truck to help them out.It seemed to me Every Aussie holiday 4wd had no time for anyone but there holiday.Human Nature I guess.
I would stop for 3 chicks anytime , lol......Seriously though , I would help anyone that didnt set me off in any way....Usually people that need help are trying to help themselves, such as walking down the road from a broke down car. so good one brother !!!
John Dunstan it’s no where near as bad as it used to be. Times have changed and now there’s competition in the pub market, prices are very reasonable. As for the supermarket etc you got to remember where you are really.
Well, I'm a female...i wouldn't pick up a guy. But girls, yes! You are such a great guy...i would defo give you a ride Micheal!!!!!!!! Miss you on RUclips.

Farewell and adieu to you, Spanish Ladies Farewell and adieu to you, ladies of Spain;.. You should have learnt "Ola" instead! Nice vid, along with the extra weight get a dive flag! Also, particularly if solo, make sure you do an overhand on the cleat with the buoy rope. Don't want the boat floating off whilst you going down (oops, thinking of those ladies from Spain again!).
3 girls from Spain would be the true definition of “Seek Adventure”. Legendary.
And getting help from the most wholesome looking guy in a truck ever. Luck all the way round.
"Dear Penthouse..."
Lol my thoughts exactly 🤣🤣
He's got a girl friend. I love this guy. Please return to us!!!!!!
I dream of being overpowered by 3 girls often!
Wow. Awesome video, as usual.
I always stop, but last time when they looked dodgy I took their photo, uploaded to Facebook and told em that way if they rob me they'll be caught lol. Ended up having beers with them at the pub I drove em to...
I stop for everyone when I can, never had an issue

Four batteries, three girls, wow, have good sense of balance!! Good video!!
Thank you for sharing, and the nice intro music👍. As for stopping, my husband always told me to just call police/or tow truck, let them come help, because you just never know.
Nice one Micheal great video.
Yes it pays to be careful now days it was once good. I'd even think twice about picking anyone up.👍😎🇳🇿

Michael i love your adventure videos, I'm pretty much going where ever you're saying is a good spot and enjoying every moment of it!
Awesome snorkelling! Just wow! I love how you choose your shirt in the matching colour for the surrounding 👍
loved it Michael, spent a lot of time in Coral Bay myself, boat fishing and 4wding
Coral bay is one of the most beautiful little towns along the west coast! I haven’t even watched it yet and I’m smashing the like button, this is bound to be a great video 😝
It's in my back yard you could say 230 km's away
Awesome as mate love watching your videos..
Hey mate love to know what drone setup you have. Your footage is top notch.
You must put a lot of effort into getting those shots then turning around and picking up your cameras.
Cant wait to explore WA when me and family move next year..... Love your smile... keep it up.

Love your work ! I look forward to seeing your new adventures
Loved the vid mate, snorkeling looked awesome!
Your vids are getting so much better, the blending of the drone footage and camera footage is great.
Love the videos mate. Makes it easy to show the misses where we’re going to plan our trips. 👍👍
Excellent video mate, that snorkeling looked amazing.
3 spanish girls!! Thats what i call SEEK ADVENTURE 😅
Thanks - great post. If you check out the Lock Picking Lawyer you will get the strait on all the trailer/wheel/hitch locks. I use a big chain and keyed padlock. Enjoy!!! Bob
Love the video and the channel. Any chance you could do one one the video equipment you use and any tips for beginners. Cheers
Great vid as always.
Unfortunately living in South Africa you don't stop for anyone. Dig your channel. Keep the vids coming.
Absolutely beautiful coral and fish. We don’t always have room for passengers unless they want to sit in the back with a German Shepard .
Wow nice the underwater shots 👍
That reef was over the top amazing, you're so lucky to enjoy it, moar snorkel vids please
Hello Michael. Love the videos, just wondering what type of drone do you use?
really top notch editing , doing really well with these vids.
Love your vids..you live life in WA to the fullest
Dunno if you do this or not but when backing your trailer into the water, unplug the wire harness. If you have the old style bulbs they will shatter if the water hits them.
Not sure with LEDs, they're probably sealed.
Hi I am new to your channel and loving the vids. Can you tell me what cameras and drone you use? Thanks
I used to stop almost all the time to help. Yes, I agree that we need to be cautious these days. My motto is to help whenever we can but with caution, as you said.
The important question is are you seeing the girls again?
inquiring minds want to know!
No.
Love the music on this one
three girls from Spain, they can overcome me anytime 🤣👍
You assess the situation, if you get a bad feeling keep driving amd call it in
Yall have the nicest boat ramps ever !!! I live in Destin Florida and we dont have anything that nice , hehe.....Water looks the same but our boat ramps are terrible.
great footage mate!
Yes I try to help everyone out, you never know if that would be you.....be safe out there....
Nice to see that you put a trailer lock on your boat trailer.

Yeah it's a risk you never know. By yourself you shouldn't feel guilty.
Awesome video
I stop for everyone. It's un Australian not to.. But I look scary enough so 😂
Love the hat!
Great vid and great comments.
Is it an Akubra Riverina?
How much time do you spend finding music for these? I'm regularly impressed.
Hi im always enjoying your video. And i learn lots of tips for my 4x4 driving.

Over power you? Sounds like a dream come true.

Technically you would want a carburetted engine as well
So the Spanish are still breaking down on our coast line i bet you find some Dutch next ..😉
Legend has it that even if overpowered by three girls he would smile
Like you say, you need to do a really quick assessment of a situation that could put you in danger. If in doubt, don't stop. depends on where, time and who they are when passing. good stuff mate, keep up the great work...
I have a question for you Michael. Have you ever had anything stolen off your rig? You’ve got so much gear there, and it would be only too easy to get into the back while you’re out snorkeling, shopping or just parked up somewhere. Any comments? Thanks.
That’s a wicked tinny you’ve got there 👌🏽
Have you ever had any trouble with your boat canopy getting damaged or shredding while trailering?
Five Fingers and Turtle Bay🤙🏾Killer spot hey
Ever over in QLD? Id be keen to show you around the barrier reef here mate
Good work getting the drone to behave in that wind...

I almost always stop. But I f I see something way off, I listen to my gut and move along.
Mate you have to get into fishing! boat in coral bay and no fish????
Have a look at Ronny Dahl he as a double line feed to two tyres and one gauge. I think the fittings are removable valve types.
I looked into that and they're expensive. I think he's sponsored by them or he's rich.
I was wondering how you were going to get back in that boat👍
I don't stop for anyone other than family.... thank the "#me too " movement

Dude this is amazing! I would like to send you a photo of my Nissan Navara and get your opinions on it and what to upgrade bla bla bla. Cheers
Get onto a navara forum for info on what to upgrade
😂 😂mate 3 women from Spain 😂😂 I really hope you got their number or some thing 😂😂
What’s the chances of two serial killers been in the same car at the same time? So yer I’d stop.... (jokes)
Seriously though yes I would stop.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That’s a great one when you pick up a hitchhiker 😂😂😂
I'm praying for the day when it will be three Polish girls...!🙂 (I'm traveling solo, wife at home)
Depends where and who. Remote locations i will always stop. Good work mate
I stopped for a backpacker a few months back, which I thought was a dude and turned out to be a 20 Swedish girl was on her last few weeks of a 2-year trip around AU was a delightful conversation for a few hrs.
I.m a diesel mechanic by trade and I do tend to offer help BUT sus them right out before getting out of your car never had an issue seriously though the world is changing rapidly and so are people just be careful these days
Do you let down tires before the sand or the gravel tracks?
Oh and yer would help out anyone if I can , don't have to worry about dodgy people 1st time they see me ..
Damn your huge is what they say...

Hi Adam!
No chance Don pilkington no chance leave Katie Lovins be love you buhbye
Farewell and adieu to you, Spanish Ladies
Farewell and adieu to you, ladies of Spain;..
I pull over wind my window down a bit check if its life threatening and if not tell them to piss in their boot and swim....... Ha! Ha! Ha!
By the look of that coastline you drove past a hundred good snorkelin spots.
