We are heading to uluru from brisbane in 11 days time and have a cairns trip booked for feb with a few mates and full time from july next year 12+ months on the road
Yeah mate we can run all our 240 v accessories its all works perfectly!! I usually run fridge and water on gas but if it ever ran out you can turn inverter on and run it off that
Why didn't you use the DCDC charger's MPPT? It'll take 800 watts of solar. Will it charge from both AC charger and solar when plugged in to 240v? Or does the AC charger talk to the solar controller and turn off the solar controller?
Main reason is the dcdc chooses best option usually engine charge off the car, where now it will charge solar the whole time and dcdc will still work as it should we also added an external point to the dcdc so we can use a blanket if needed
All these vids of people buying a bunch of crap and claiming they're living "off grid" 🤣🤣 living "off grid" means you don't need electric, cell phones, generators, cars...So If I bought a power plant and used it to power my house that would be living "off grid" 🤣
Do you know what off grid is mate? Solar living is off grid not being hooked up to infrastructure is off grid, being self sufficient is off grid we can do all that but we cant say were can go off grid?
Wrong tutorial for you John. Go over there and do your own thing while the people interested in this information, can learn and interact, without interference. Believe me, I am being as polite as I can right now . . .
Great Video thank you so much. They do an awesome job at Accelerate their vids are informative also. How long before you hit the Rd?

Keep us in the loop on your set up. Just a quick question does your hot water service have the potential to run from that inverter?

Thanks for the video. Mate, so if you're at a caravan park plugged into 240 power, do you still have to turn the inverter on?
No its a transfer inverter so it bridges the 240 v and bypasses the inverter its a very clever setup
