- Parking Garage Rally Circuit is the exact type of game I've been looking for. It's fast, frantic and best of all, cheap! Join me as I take a quick look at this fun little game.

straight SEGA arcade racing vibe. I love it.
Gives me real GTI Club vibes, one to watch!
This game looks awesome! Def gotta check this out sometime.
Looks like a cool game. The Soundtrack sounds like either the Reel Big Fish or The Mighty Mighty Bosstones!!! That was cool too.
Ahhh! Love love love the mighty mighty bosstones.
Yep, a band called the holophonics made the soundtrack. They did a GREAT job.
Considering what Walaber has done with Jelly Car World, we might be able to expect mod support down the line. Which wpuld be amazing
I'd kill for some more cars and tracks
@@NoMooreMercyTV Even just allowing for custom car decals would be great
Saturn was notoriously hard to develop games for. Would be amazing if they pulled it off!
Also, in general it's far easier making a modern game look retro than making the same game work on retro hardware.
Truth!
I'd definitely like to see this running on Sega Saturn. Way too many games are copying the aesthetics lately, but none are running on the Saturn. I totally get that it's a risky decision, as it's a lot of work for something not many people are going to try, but I'd love to see it done for real at least once.
Do you have a Saturn? Do you have any recommended games for it? I love it's chunky 3D graphics but I've never played one, I don't know where to start lol.
@@NoMooreMercyTV I don't really know that many games, I had no money for video games back when the Saturn was current and only got to know it a little bit recently thanks to srg320 making a Saturn core for the MiSTer FPGA.
Somes games I've played shareware versions on PC before, like Virtua Fighter and Hi-Octane, or arcade versions, like Daytona USA and Sega Rally (which was my favorite game back then), despite not being quite like the arcade versions, then there are also the titles everyone talks about: Nights into dreams, panzer dragoon, the various fighting games. If you like fighting games, you're in for a treat, along with many famous franchises, there are also some lesser known titles that can be really fun if you're into weird games, like Galaxy Fight or Cyberbots. If you're into first person shooters, definitely try Powerslave.
Another cool aspect of the Saturn is it's sound generator chip. The Saturn is probably better known for CD Audio tracks, but it had quite a powerful sound chip for the time. Search for space harrier theme played from sega saturn basic here on youtube if you want a sample of what it can do.
I wish I still had the patience to try more games, but those days, I only play a few games I really like and the rest of my free time I like to spend tinkering and learning new stuff. I've been trying to learn about Verilog to play around a little more with my MiSTer.
@@NoMooreMercyTV forgot to add: I'm still planning to get a real Saturn eventually, even though it doesn't make that much sense for me with the FPGA core doing so well. But the system is just too quircky and I love weird stuff like this. I'd love to try playing with the sound chip and maybe play around with adding some features to stuff like 240p test suite. But I'm getting ahead of myself, for now, I'll stick to trying to learn enough Verilog to play a bit more with the MiSTer. Trying to do too many different stuff at once is a good recipe to getting nothing done.😅
Congrats on getting a review key, man. I'll keep an eye on this one
Thanks! Its really addictive! I can't wait to play some multiplayer this weekend.
Graphic and physics kinda give me a mix of a Gran Turismo and Twisted Metal combination by look. Also that one rally game I had the demo of and can’t remember the name. That demo ruled.
0:45 minute you made me check my discord xD
LMAO sorry! My mixer keeps moving Discord from my chat channel to my game channel, so OBS keeps picking it up.
found this game on my front page of steam and I think it can hit well with a certain audience, it just needs to be discovered
As a person who has a Japanese SEGA Saturn with a copy of SEGA RALLY Championship that I bought last year and has also played Daytona USA on it, I can say that it looks like a Saturn game and I love that the developer went after those graphics insted of the PS1 look that it seems the norm nowadays, Saturn racing games, specially those made by SEGA are awesome ports of the Arcade ones
I agree! He did a great job of recreating a game from that time period.
Thanks for the review, I hadn't heard about this game before! Looks awesome, I might pick this one up!
You're welcome! If you do, let's play multiplayer this weekend!
Thanks for the review! Been waiting for this game to drop can't wait to check it out! ❤
If you pick it up, lets play some multiplayer this weekend!
Game looks hella fun I might have to pick it up! Looks like it would be a great game to play on the steam deck!
It rules! Super replayable too.
wait until he learns about cheat codes
I know they're in there, but I haven't found any of them yet lol.
Hey! Meybe you wanna play Sunrise GP? Chillout Arcade Racer :)
Wait, is the Saturn look only available at 60fps? I want that ascetic but MAXIMUM framerate
On the preset, it's set to 30 but you can tweak the settings to your liking.
