What's always aggravating is how California Law Enforcement stays so far back during a vehicle pursuit that the suspects have plenty of time to get out of their vehicle and carjack another, plenty of time to wander around neighborhoods and hide. In other States the police stay immediately behind the suspect vehicle and the moment the suspects hit the ground running the police do too, catching up with them quickly. The suspects never have a chance to carjack somebody, never have a chance to hide somewhere.
