When Will FNF's Next Update Come Around?

Just a little meme for the fans. It's been awhile and I really do think at this point people really think the next update just isn't coming. I'm starting to become one of them.

I'm not saying it doesn't, but in the time frame of week 7 to on going week 8, the modding scene has already made hundreds of decent quality mods. FNF is a simple game by design. Heck, even I've made my fair share of mods before week 8.
At the same time, we know their dev team got bigger and we've confirmed a new difficulty that will make remixes of every song before week 8 and moving forward. A ton of work for sure, but instead of at least releasing a new week in a reasonable time and then working on the new difficulty on the side, they've left the community waiting so long that most of us lost hope.

I've made the bet to stop wondering about an update to the game when Toby fox puts out chapter 3 of deltarune. It seems like it will be that long

From what I've been seeing around their Twitter and stuff, they're focusing more on getting their promises done from the Kickstarter. Which they seem to be actually almost done with. All the devs have a blog and are pretty active still, which is good sign.
But at the same time, all they had to do was get Week 8 done which is only 3-4 songs. I understand they're releasing a new difficulty alongside Week 8 with remixes of everything moving forward, and it's going to be a LOT of content, but they didn't have to go for it this update. They could have just been like, "lets get the next few weeks and then drop the new difficulty."
I mean, they have to get 60 weeks with working multiplayer by the end of the FNF game if they're dedicated to keeping their promises. At this rate, that's going to be like a few decades, lol.
