when I see this I think that when finn closes his eyes its his point of view of what he thinks he looks like but when he opens his eyes its the true reality of what he has become so its like finn is trying to handle whats happening to him while bf tries to help him in the back.
That’s what I think too! I assumed this song was Finn’s inner consciousness, with his mind in a peaceful state (in the beginning), unable to see what harm he’s doing. Then, when he’s facing forward but his eyes and crown are corrupted, he’s fighting back. He’s realizing the true situation. I think it would be cool if there was a song where Finn is singing directly towards the screen the whole time with more animations and visual effects, with us the player singing back at him instead of playing bf and the screen blinks a color each time on each side depending on the arrows we hit or a song where we are playing as someone behind a screen, watching our favorite cartoons only to see the glitchy mess taking over and we try guiding the cartoons who aren't corrupted yet but beyond that we can't really interfere that much, something like that...I just like the idea that in the pibby universe people can see what's going on from beyond the screen so it would be cool to see this unravel from a perspective of a normal human who was just trying to enjoy cartoons

It's the Finn Sword. what happened was (and I don't remember all of it) finn went into a dungeon, ended up either cloning himself or getting cloned, and by the end, the clone got put into the sword, thus making finn sword.

I like the theory em2souls was foing with. I haven't seen it happened yet, but apparently the pibby corruption can extend past fictional/non fictional shows, and reach us in the real world as well (again, I haven't seen this happen). Fin being one of the strongest corrupted warriors as well as being one of the most likable characters in fiction, would indeed try to convince us to join him in the darkness. BF on the other hand, is strong enough to fight off some of the warriors, and is overall protected from the corruption as long as he can beat them in a rap battle, protecting him and anyone on his side. He would try to convince not to join Fin, telling us its a trap, and that we'll be corrupted if we do so. This would eventually work, because later in the song, Fin turns his attention from us to go and deal with BF, trying to take him out.
My theory: Finns soul try’s to leave but is held back by the corruption because when he has the corruption spinning around his head, he actively tres to pull it out. Then at the final phase of the fight when Finn with the white face and corrupted body fights, I think that’s a representation of his soul still trying to escape but being held back

It would be really nice if I could actually play this song to completion but it bugs out at 2:19 so bad (I am assuming unoptimized assets trying to load all at once really quickly) or something like that , by the time my pc is able to recover the game has been paused for 4 seconds causing an instant game over. You can actually also see your gameplay stutter here. In community Game’s video he actually loses his full chart due to this same issue which no one seems to be noticing. Could be hardware related but considering most other fnf mods run fine, seems to be an optimization issue and given the demo status is not surprising. I write you all this bc this is like the one pibby song I enjoy and of course it’s not super over charted and crazy and of course my computer can run it lol.
