Loving your work and attention to detail. A buckets list build for me is a Super Bug with a water cooled motor and it was great to see the inside of the tunnel and the possibility of running coolant lines through there. Not the greatest for heat dissipation but it'd look SO clean.
You guys are killing it with all these detailed videos. I just recently came across your channel and I’m so glad to see that somebody is taking the old VW pans and remanufacturing them. You’re videos show that your workmanship is incredible. Thank you for giving a guy who wants to build his own kit car the ability of putting a brand-new chassis underneath.
Pete, I always knew that you weren't a spineless guy! I like the conduit that you added... I think that it is a much better place to bring through the wiring rather than through the body. Nice work!
Thanks for the comment Krusher. In all actuality, there is three layers of powder coat that filled any gaps that were there so no moisture will actually get it. We thought of that and made sure before we started assembling.
wonderful job, I just whish that that car is not intended to to be driven on salty roads because the reinforcement plug welded on the tunnel cover plate creates a rust encapsuling area.
I love your work, your doing what i thought about doing many years ago . I know I'm old schooled when i say this , but could you find another station for your music ? 😊
I thought you were going to have the conduit come out on the passenger side of the Napolean hat (vs the suspension side) so you wouldn't see any wiring in front of the body under the hood from outside the car. Did I misunderstand or did plans have to change? Just curious. Love the work. Gorgeous!
I am looking at redoing my chassis And moving the welded braces they added to my shortened pan inside the tunnel. What gauges of metal did you use for the spine? I noticed you welded side to side across the spine was that for notched contour? Will be ordering pan halfs Friday thanks for the awesome content and help.
I just watched it again and listened to the music I selected and you know what....I am going to use every track again on my next video. Thanks for commenting, I really miss these old jams. Take care my friend!
I'm in the middle of repairing an old fiberglass dune buggy these guys rock helping me with ideas.

Love the attention to detail in Safety and craftsmanship.
Love the kidders intro and sick conduit idea.
Appreciate it Tracy
Can't Wait to see the body on it!
Hey Pete, you have some serious skills, Dude
Not only am I impressed with the work as usual... I wish I had hammering skills/speed like that! lol
liked the tunnel reinforcement that will make tight with the Airkewld suspension

Great idea on the conduit and beautiful work, Gents!
Outstanding attention to detail. Workmanship is out of this world. You all are killing it keep up the good work.
Nice opening with the cat 👍🏼 that pan is coming out nice.
Great update for the 64

I'm really glad I have my pan finished and painted or I may have to be adding a spine to mine. Looks great
The level of detail is incredible and craftmanship rocks...Only the best from AirKewld.
you guys have the best damn "jobs" and put out the coolest rides . keep it up!
Beautiful work!!!
Amazing skill and craftsmanship. Beautiful to watch!
Like the wire tube idea
Incredible work on the buggy! Motivating me to clean up, strengthen my buggy pan/ frame. Really like the wiring tube in the tunnel!
Wow, incredible craftsmanship man, I love your work and projects brother!
Wow.. looks great!
Man i can't believe we havent hit that 10k. Hopefully soon man.
I've been following this build. Is really impressive. The best I've seen.
Looks like fun!
That laser cut plate you welded to the bottom is going to be a great rust trap once moisture gets behind it.

What a great job. You guys thought of everything. Curious to see how you wire the instruments and dash.
Sweet!! Nice work!!🤙🏼
Amazing work. Love to see the passion for unique and insightful builds.
looking great!
amazing detail, going to look awesome when its done.
wonderful job,

Have you seen the kit car? If he is any weather with this car, he’s screwed.
Looks Good!
Freakin beautiful bud!
Jeeez, I would love a chassis like this for my 356 Speedster. I guess I've got a lot of work ahead....... :(
increible trabajo
Great Job

Probably not….got to have a passion, then tunes are mine.

Great work do you have a dfx cut file for the spine plate ?
I don’t, sorry. Made a stencil, sent it to a friend who scanned it
@@AirkewldVWsyou could sell that file on line
Those pans are sweet! You say they came out of Britain?
Yep, if they check out great, we will be supplying our clients these
Are y’all building the whole car, or just the chassis? Love the build!
Just the chassis
Dang! Are they going to show off the buggy somewhere?
Hope so
Awesome Work?

Nice work. Stop doing the camera slap transition if you're going to fade though.
Thanks Briand for the comment. We enjoyed slapping it every once in awhile. It has faded over the years...
@@AirkewldVWs I just realized that video was a year old. lol. Still relevant content! Nice welds.
No weld through primer?
Not a fan.
@@AirkewldVWs so there's no protection between the metals?
Do you offer the bottom spine?
No sorry.
Music link?
Horrible background music. Grinding metal with fingernails on a chalkboard sounds better.
