Suzuki Jimny Lifted with 31 inch tires and Alloy Wheels.

- Just sharing another pair of cute little monsters from the Ibex Trailblazers Garage.
Both have a makeshift spacer lift till the actual Ironman4x4 suspension lift kit comes in.
The kinetic yellow is running 31x10.5/R15 Bfgoodrich Ko2 on 15” American Racing Wheels and the Grey one has 275/65/R17 on 17” bronze Fuel wheels.
Both the tires are 31inches tall.

Both look amazing. The kinetic yellow and black coloured rims look awesome, so does the combo of bronze wheels and grey vehicle. Amazing work done. Waiting for more mods to follow. Keep up the good work.

Sorry to say this but read it from an international jimny forum couple of weeks ago .To fit 235's without any problem including rubbing , U definitely need a minimum of 60mm 😎lift which is not actually 2 inch lift but close to 2.5 inch😅 . Longer steering dampers👈 need to be installed which is optional with lift kit to prevent wobble . Without that one way or other some issue will be faced . Only thing thats certain is👉 without a lift max u can go is 215/75/15👌 and shouldnt even think about installing a 235 on stock
Ive read and heard that 225/70 is the close to stock upgrade that you can do currently with the available tyres in the market…almost similar tyre height and the only difference being the increased width

One nit-pick. The wheels on the Grey Jimny are probably not real Fuel wheels, but replicas. Those come with engraved "Fuel" on one of the stems. Great looking wheels, nonetheless. I have the same design in satin black on my Thar.
275 wheels on 9j rims, its such an overkill in an already slow car. Damn these cars would move and have a pick up of a snail now. As much as i like the wheels n tyres, but going anything over the 215/235 at most is futile.
Hey Jaideep, Have you retained the Thar after you bought the Jimny or is it gone?
I currently have the Thar D AT and the itch for the Jimny is immense. Want to hear from someone who's had both if it's worth replacing as a city/occasional highway vehicle.

Are you using anything to correct the gearing as the increase in diameter is drastic and the manual Jimny gears are too tall in 4low also and what is the weight gain per tyre in comparison to stock

Without the throttle tuner, do you feel a difference in acceleration especially when overtaking? Have the bigger tyres affected the steering feel at slow speed maneuvering? Wont teh added weight of the tyres put a load on the rear door hinge? Are you planning to use a rear bumper mounter spare wheel holder (assuming that you'll go for metal bumpers)
Yes will be doing a rear metal bumper eventually.
With the kind of driving style we have, we have never had an issue with the way she runs
Sir, like Thar (Mahindra) will Maruti Jimny will launch without 4 by 4 gears?
If its does than price of Jinny will be less in compared to current 4by 4 price.

My jimny with ironman 2inch kit and 31/10.5 r15 touches everything inside arch front and back after chopping off fiber body cladding also

Dear sir i have been watching your videos for a while now can you please let us know what seat covers you are using for the Jimny since the factory ones does not cover the whole bucket seat because of airbags and for a guy like you knowing ins and outs of expeditions what seat covers do you suggest other than NEXA provided seat covers since dirt, sweat, etc will muck up the fabric seat being exposed on the sides of both the front seats in the long run please suggest in comments thank you

Assuming it is a suspension kit, will meet castor correction bushes and adjustable links and steering rods+ panhard rods as well
100mm is going to be huge and should easily take bigger tire sizes too
Even though it would be perfect with a set of 31” tires

Just wanted to ask, If 235/75/15 BFG will fit in directly on the stock Jimny wheel or it will be needing lift kit?
fitment is barely possible but the biggest draw back is that wheels rubs off against the wheel well when going through full suspension travel and also while turning edge to edge. Also you'll most probably caster correcting bushings
Will fit with maybe a little rubbing , nothing that cannot be managed

Could you please guide me in upgrading the suspension of Mahindra Thar with Iron Man Foam cell series. What would be the cost and do you think I can upgrade fox suspensions with Thar. If yes, what size should I choose, I’m a novice in terms the technicalities.
