- Blister our Tetraodon pustulatus is always hungry and making sure he has lots of hard shelled aquatic invertebrates to work his dental plates on is important.
Todays video we test out my tried and true DIY easy snail trap versus a brand name (SERA) snail trap.
Which you do you hypothesize will perform best?

Get him garden snails and crayfish, he will enjoin them alot. I just freeze them before feeding mine.

What's up, my brother? I use the same bottle trap ( larger ), for trapping my livebearers, in the outdoor tubs. Works, very well to catch those stragglers that evade netting. Always, catches snails as incidental bycatch.

Ive used the diy bottle thing for decades but this contraption from Sera was a game changer...It actually worked too well.

I'm, surviving lol. Yeah, that Sera trap looks pretty effective. I'm recovering slowly from the 2019-2022 dramas and slowly building up stock levels and getting down to business. Feeling positive and primed for our out door season down here. Haven't, felt that way in a long time. Might reboot the channel somewhere in the New Year. Will drop ya an email sometime and catch up. That Sera trap is way too efficient, the snail population could never keep up with that kind of harvesting, but perfect for total eradication!
One more thing, your hand tat is hilarious, I named my wifes animal crossing island El Pleco, that first word is so versatile haha!

There’s a reason behind why I did it this way. Originally I though of using the O nip tabs provided in both. But I was more looking towards the results based on my regular experience using cucumber. It’s been my tried and true for decades. Perhaps I should have mentioned it in the video.
