Introducing new foods to our Tetraodon pustulatus aka Cross River Puffer

  • Blister our Cross River Puffer Fish has settled in nicely and already start to pack on some size.
    He single handedly has almost solved the Malaysian Trumpet Snail problem in the Piranha Aquarium... So now we need to try some new foods.
    Let's see if he enjoys the new food options.

    I just got a cross river today and I need more plants in his tank what did you find that works good

      Hair algae somewhat took over his ‘smaller’ tank in m assuming die to the large volume of organic waste. I’m shortly moving him to a much larger Congo community aquarium, 160 gallons

    What else do you feed yours mine doesn’t seem to like clams lol

      so far: earthworms, mussel meat, will also eat the meat if i start cracking a fresh mussel as well, every possible type of snail, nightcrawlers, market shrimp raw, chopped fish (smelts) and hoping to find at one of the asian markets some crawfish soon

      @@themadaquarist I’ve tried giving clams on a half shell and he doesn’t want it smh but loves every snail or worm I throw in

    Such a beautiful fish!! 🥰 Puffers are my fav. One day I hope to have a tank large enough to have one of these guys.

      Check out the video that just came out last weekend entitled Got Snails. I must of released them backwards but I mention the reasoning behind the name

    I like the looks ,except the tails on them always look pinched. It doesn't matter who has them those tails suk😅
