Flat out UGLY and then the bathroom tile is just as awesome. While all the space was nice I did not see any solar so that place will bankrupt whoever lives there...

This looks like a survivalist group's compound. I keep wondering where is the fallout bunker and the underground firing range and armory? And why is there not an elevator to the main house? No one wants to climb all those stairs just to go inside. But a good field of fire from the upper story just in case there is a zombie apocalypse. Gated entry with automated gates to keep out curious strangers. Swimming pool for extra water storage. Solar panels for grid-down power. Greenhouse for starting veggie plants before planting them out in that screened cage just in case of a doomsday closure of local supermarkets. Plenty of outdoor parking space for everyone's bug out vehicles and RVs. Plenty of indoor space for storing long-term foods. And the garages are fitted for air conditioning just in case you need an overflow area for additional people to camp in their vehicles during the summer. Yep, sure looks like a survivalist compound to me.
They only show those features to the pre-qualified serious buyers only. Can't give away the features of the compound.
Yea, or, the previous owner made a living working on vehicles and built his office 50 yards from the main house.

For me the most appealing part of this was the two story dog house. Perfect example of stupid money being spent. You could have all of the same amenities in a much more appealing layout.

Beautiful. Amazed someone could fit all of that into a single acre. Only additions I think I would have made is a massive solar system. Perfect sun location for it. House is great, even comes with a crab-out apartment for him downstairs. And on a really bad week an entire house in back. Oh I agree with one commenter, with all of the garage space shown it was a shame there was no lifts. Plenty of air access for tools.
As for the tour. Would love to compliment you. This is by far one of the most detailed tours without the annoying talking that accompany some. Hats off to you folks. First lottery I win I will either buy this place or have something similar constructed.

This is my dream house with the exception of 4 things.
1. I'd want direct access to the garage from the home upstairs.
2. Less office space and more garage space would be better.
3. I couldn't come close to affording it
4. It's not in my city.

Boyce1204 I agree with you, buddy. I've been looking at building a house to spend the rest of my life in. After 50 years of earning a living, I've worn my knees out. Actually been looking into installing an elevator so I can still maintain and navigate a two-story home as I get older. I have considered building a house over 2400 sqft shop. If you consider an auto lift or 2 , you really require a 10-foot ceiling minimum. Not only is that a lot of steps, but the elevators, while a little pricey, will allow you to live in the house the rest of your life as we gain more aches and pains.

If I owned it I would Rent out the 4 Rooms in the Front house and Live in the Back Garage . All you would need to add is a Oven/Stove in that Kitchen . I could Park my Prevost 45 foot Motor coach inside and even live in it . LOL.. It could use some updates but overall it is GREAT . My Wife would love it . She live in the Front house and I live in the back house . LOL...

This place is a diy disaster. Owner made a bad decision thinking he could design. That is a costly mistake.

It's a pretty interesting house and concept. But, where did they get 20 car storage? 32 x 40 is good for six cars. Maybe eight, if you squeeze them in tight. And even then, you would need the 40 to be 40 ft deep and 32 wide so you can pull a cars in straight. 32 ft isn't enough room to put one car behind the other unless it's a Porsche or Miata The other is basically a two car garage. That's assuming that there's nothing else in the room. No tool boxes or workbenches. Also, 8-foot ceilings don't give you enough height to install lifts. I noticed there was a second building with more parking but I didn't stick around in the video to watch that. In no way the fault of the real estate agent or the the video. Just, for me, a poor layout of the garages. Apparently the owner and the architect didn't get together on the size of an actual car. I wonder if that's why he's selling it.

What a great property. Too bad half of the tile choices are terrible (IMO) that area above the RV garage is worthless and all those garage spaces and not even a lift. Don't get me wrong there's a lot of really nice features it just looks dated because of the tile choices.
