Organic products are better than synthetic products but it is important to know that not all cosmetics work for all. What is more important is to identify your skin type and know the product your skin requires. I will advise people to visit a dermatologist for skin care consultation instead of doing try and error. Many people are posting videos about skin care on social media without explaining the scientific rationale. Also, it is not about the brand but the ingredients in the brand that your skin needs. Dove products are generally good for all skin types, especially for moisturizing, smoothing, and glowing skin. The only cons of the Dove Body Love with Lotus + Rice Milk is that it has no any sun protecting factor (SPF), so note that you may likely experience sunburn with too much sun exposure. Better combine it with a moisturizing sunscreen.
The extract body lotion you mentioned will not moisturize your skin well because it has some products like Tetrasodium EDTA, salicylic acid (though good for acne) that tend to dehydrate the skin. The Calamansi type of citrus fruit though helps to lighten dark sports can give skin irritation, itching, and even stinging, especially in those with sensitive skin. It is funny that the percentage of these products in the lotion were not categorically mentioned. The most down side of extract products is that there is not official website, thus the possibly of buying fake products is high. However for those that would like to use the extract lotion, it is always advisable to carry out a patch test (allergy test) by dabbing a small amount of the product behind your ear and observe for any unwanted reactions or changes.

The truth is, this same product you compliant of is good on other's. So what doesn't work for you doesn't mean it won't work for another person.

She obviously said she has sensitive skin, everything can't work for everyone no matter how awesome the rating is.
If you like to have more hydration, glowing, and anti acne, you can add Moroccan Argan oil, coconut oil, neem oil and or Vit E oil (not the gel form).

Yes she can use it but since she a dry skin it’s might not give that complete hydration, you can add up a Baby oil
