The 5.7 is a great engine , the problem is that it's stifled from the factory through the throttle body , the intake , the exhaust manifold and the cats . Take care of those issues and a tune , You'll have a nice running 5.7 ! Add a head and cam package and You can play with scats ! My last MOPAR was a 2020 scatpack shaker , and I would by an R/T in a Heartbeat !

You can keep mpg the same with a tune. In my opinion, mid muff delete is sufficient. My personal scat has headers, high flow cats and no mid mufflers and it is the perfect sound. Loud and deep, but not obnoxious and there is no drone

I have a 2021 Challenger RT that I plan on installing long tune headers next spring. Did you half switch out the PCM? I was told that any 5.7 2015 or later requires a PCM unlock on top of a tune!
Not sure how you only picked up 6 peak whp going from that rich to what I assume you left it at which is around 12.8(.88). Fueling alone should have been worth more even without any timing advance…I would think anyway. Is that on 87 pump? I have 18.5 degrees of peak timing on my 6.1 which is also boosted btw… 8 psi…but I’m on 94 octane. Also, did you play with vct? Cheers

My 2021 Durango RT, Tow N Go with just an AFE intake did 323 Wheel on a Mustang Dyno. So 357 isn't too bad for just stock tune and headers.

Boost is the only thing that will help a 5.7 beat a 6.4.. the 6.4s have 100hp advantage from the jump

It’s still on 91… I was a little shocked as well. But definitely happy with the results as I normally see 330s on stock 5.7s

Cam, headers, e85 will get you to the 400 mark or past it depending on cam selection and tune

370 is rated to the crank. This is in wheel hp. 370 whp is about 400-410 crank
