Namaste manoj guruji.. Got So much to learn .. The sessions are so so engaging. searching the songs u mention and listening to them is like a treasure hunt.. Each song is heera moti ..!! Thank you Pankaj ji for aranging such sessions.. Bahut bahut dhanyawaad..
Kishoreda has sung so many classical based songs, but always emphasised the mood of the song. His masterly sung phirats and harkats are without pretension and always emphasizing the feelings. May be that is why it still comes as a shock/surprise that he has sung a song in so and so raag!! Probably the biggest compliment to his singing philosophy/style!
I have only just discovered this series and I can not wait to go through your episodes. You explain the raag's so well and important insights. I wish this approach is more commonly found rather than the most common one which only tells you the notations and rules, but without any motivation/insight behind those. Also I would have never realised that 'Hothon pe aisi baat' was partially in Ahir Bhairav!! Thanks a ton for this service to Indian music!!
You are living legend in classical music no limits god gifted. My regards.
