MegaBlock Special: Exclusive ride aboard an Electric Double Decker crossing the JJ Flyover

Had to commute to Fort for some work on June 1st, despite the challenges of travelling due to Mega Block. After lunch, I was looking for options on my way home when an Electric Double Decker left in front of me towards Byculla. To cater to the rush between CSMT, Byculla, and Wadala Road, the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST) operated special bus services using buses from Wadala, Backbay, Colaba and Mumbai Central Depots. Route no. C-10 was catering to the rush for Wadala Road Railway Station. The rush at CSMT was catered by A-25 Special, operated by two electric double-decker buses of Colaba Depot and three Olectra X2 AC SD Buses of Mumbai Central Depot. The rush was easy to cater to as there were more than 5 Bus Routes connecting CSMT & Byculla, while buses to Wadala were overflowing with passengers due to limited alternatives.
My Double Decker Bus was fairly empty as the crowd at the CSMT Bus Stop was already cleared by an Olectra X2 of Mumbai Central Depot that went just two minutes ahead of mine. This video features an introduction explaining the background of the whole scenario, followed by a Timelapse of the Double Decker Bus crossing the JJ Flyover.
