Yeah. They might have been a later release colorway. Not one that I remember or have seen in old catalogs or pics. The OG releases colorway ,I believe I mentioned, that are similar to the "chili pepper" colorway can be seen on Even Hernandez's part in "in bloom". Those black/royal blue colorway were the ones I had and skated when the XLTs released in 2001. I also asked Rowley on Instagram and to my surprise, he responded. He said he's saving that colorway (OG Black/Royal Blue) reserved for a future release. I'm really looking forward to that colorway! Whenever that should be. Lol
Had to get the black ones too because i cant justify paying $300 for the Navy Dime editions from a 3rd party reseller. These are dope too. Plus im gonna skate them anyway.
I agree. I have two pairs of the Dime ones, but I didn't get them at the same time. Both I got from Mom n pop skate shops. I wasn't paying the resell price for crap. I skated the OG Black/Royal Blue colorway in the early 2000's. Love the shoe, but the nubuck material isn't the most durable. The "Utility Rainy Day" XLT colorway is ALL suede. That one should be able to take more abuse. I believe they're just sitting on shelves atm on the Vans website.

Im size 6 in vans what size best fit for me size 6 o 5.5mens???
These can run snug so I would go true to size or if you want a bit of space go up half a size. I wouldn't go half size down on the XLTs
Im pretty sure this is a retro colourway as well. Pretty sure i had them in this colour. also have you skated these?

I go true to size on my XLTs. The only one I would half up is the Dme XLTs
what about one block down - TTS or 0.5 up ?
