Sir, my father is diabetic for 13 years and HTN as well. Both are managed well with medicines now including dapagliflozin and telmisartan for HTN. His creatinine is .86 but ACR is 72, did test twice in 4 months. Both came in microalbuminuria range. Which stage he is in and what to do from here ?
Very informative. Can you please also cover the benefits of using insulin instead of different medicines which are harmful for kidneys and liver. When I had AKI my Nephrologist had prescribed me Insulin. I’m also using Libre3 to monitor my sugar levels. Further, doctor has recently added Lisinopril to save kidneys. Insulin and CGM have improved management of diabetes and kidneys. Just sharing my experience.
Insulin is the last thing I would ever recommend. It may control Blood sugar but it cause tons of other metabolic issues. I only believe that the best diabetes management is reversal of diabetes. Watch our webinar June 08 at 11 am .

Sir low bp doesn’t worsen proteinuria. I have given the ranges of BP in the video. I am not a fan of keto diet and I don’t recommend it.

His stage 2 and he should ask his doctor to manage his proteinuria.
