After I watched this several and I mean several times, I realized how extremely well you convey exactly each situation your in and their respected modes. It's amazing that you were able to explain all the functions so clearly with no hesitation. You really know this stuff. EXCELLENT job. Thank you
When it comes to the Pixel 7, photos are great, video is good enough, and its artificial intelligence is unmatched. I love the A.I. I'm still a happy Pixel 6 user and looking forward to upgrading to an 8.
9:38 I hear him saying the S22 will be better because of a better zoom range. But if you look at the pictures its obvious the Pixel 7 took a more detailed picture with less zoom capabilities. Further testing is needed to show which phone has better zoom capabilities on text from a far distance.
may have needed a few more samples as motion during picture taking affects blurriness when zoomed in even more. I own s21 ultra and it can take very clear pics at 10x as long as its very stable.
Great video, and great comparison! What is surprising for me is that I had such DIFFERENT results when doing my own. I ordered the Pixel 7 and did some pretty extensive testing comparing against my Galaxy S22 in same range of daylight, low light, and video modes. For my use - the S22 offers a more broad range of functions including the Telephoto lens which is a win over the Pixel. The Samsung appears to natively let in more light which can be seen when you hold both phones up in a lower light setting and view with your eyes what the camera app is "seeing" on each phone. I would need to switch the Pixel over to Night Sight in order for it to let in more light on the viewfinder, which was odd to me, when Samsung was doing it without being in a Night setting. I took pictures in extremely low light with Normal and Night modes and was getting more clear and brighter images, in *most* of my shots. There were of course a few where the Pixel had a better image with better detail - not all of them could have been in favor of Samsung. For my testing, video at night or low light, was far brigther on the Samsung than on the Google phone. Again, this was a great video and I hope it helps a lot of people deicde which is best for them! They are both great phones. I prefer the more svelte size of the Samsung, the inclusion of Telephoto, and what I felt was an overall "brighter" experience in my day to day use of the camera. I did send the Pixel 7 back to Google and now awaiting the release of the Galaxy S23 in a few months. Cheers!
5:50 in the middle of the screen and especially on the trees you can see the big issue with all Samsung's its shaking effect even when stabilization mode is on. As a Samsung A52S user I have noticed that in my phone also there is a shaking effect that causes noise. It stabilises the whole image but in center you can see the noise and shaking effect. Samsung, please fix it!
Will forever prefer the Pixel camera to Samsung's, but after using Pixel 6/ 6 Pro and 7/ 7 Pro extensively, I'm looking forward to hopping back to Samsung with the S23 series. Will miss the Pixel camera, though. Absolutely no reason Samsung couldn't upgrade their cameras to this quality by now. :'(
Just returned the pixel 7 plus, after 2 weeks twice, had screen flickering. The first I thought it was a hardware issue and returned to Best Buy. The second time, the same thing flickring and black screen won't turn on. Did not want to return. However, it was useless when you couldn't turn on. I went back to Galaxy. .
Very informative video. The problem with Pixel models is the USB port quality because its construction is prone to failure. This is why I change to Galaxy.
The S22 Exynos are really not good at video stabilization 🤦🏽♂️ The S22 is really difficult to recommend because of its battery life 🔋, on the other hand the S22 Plus 👌🏽 I really hope that Samsung will increase the size of the batteries 🔋 of the S23 / S23+🤞🏽 This Pixel 7 is really good, very balanced smartphone, on the other hand it is very bad in portrait mode, but really very bad and I can't stand Pixel-Experience 😅
This was honestly extremely well done! I came for the comparison but stayed for the very enjoyable high quality content. Please keep up the awesome work!
The s22 also lets u switch cameras from main to wide to 3x zoom to front camera you just need to know how to unlock this feature. Hold on shutter button swipe up and u will be able to switch betwen 4 cameras on the same recoding video.
Im feeling confounded, upgraded from Pixel 4 to S22 ONLY due to it being the only phone keeping closer to the size of the pixel 4, but im so missing the camera post processing of pixel phones. Even my pixel 4 took better selfies. So disappointed in google for going towards large phone formats exclusively. I might downgrade to Pixel 5. S22 just doesnt feel as smooth software and UI wise. And seflies are awful 🫤
Brother if i had to chosen between pixel 7a or iPhone 12 which one should i buy? I got to know that pixel 7a have heating and network issues, so totally confused. Which one should i buy?
U can press 1 button on the photo edit on Pixel 7 to instantly add vivid colors to the image if you want strong and less realistic color. Takes literally 3 seconds.
I have a question for all of you ! Is 128 GB storage enough ??? Example. When I buy phone i use it 3 years... Your video is amazing... I wish you all best.
I have an old pixel 4a and just got the s22. I ran a speed test between the two and my old 4a beat the galaxy almost every time. I was quite shocked. Even the photos on the 4a are better...especially in low light. S22 is a good phone but can't even compete against an old base model pixel which is quite pathetic for the price difference.
Yeah I upgraded from Pixel 4 to S22 and I'm simply disappointed. Not only are selfies quality awful on it but even the UI and software feels clunky. The touch screen is also not as responsive and smooth in comparison. I might downgrade to Pixel 5.
@@nimkal I have a pixel 7 now too... for over a year...and never had an issue with it. I only use my s22 for business calls, email, and text and my pixel 7 for everything else. I'd take my pixel 7 over my s22 any day...
@thadlogan51 I'm sure the usability of the Pixel 7 is quite nice as i prefer original Android over one UI, however I'm looking for a pocket size and comfortable hand-held size as I will always be carrying my phone with me during sports and training for music. Therefore the Pixel 7 is poor in that department and Google has done a very poor choice by not offering a smaller size like samsung has. For this reason I have to stick to the S22 even though I wanted a pixel for their post processing pictures. It's Google's own loss. Their pixel 4 and 5 were their last real flagship designs.
Pixel stability and colours are on point ☝️
Agreed

I'm pleasantly surprised how well the S22 holds up, even the Exynos version. Great video!

Your Skin colour on the pixel is much nicer/pleasant
It's almost 1year of S22 bt it's still performing really well

Pixel skin tones are 🔥
I do like the darker shadows on the galaxy rear camera

turn off scene optimizer. that's why s22 has loads of extra saturation in the greens/foliage, overall though, pixel 7 takes better photos!

Not in 4K 60fps. That is what I was referring to. It does this fine in 4K 30p
When will Android in general remove the jello jitter effect at night? iPhones don't really have an issue with that.
