Galaxy A54 performs better in low-light videos and the selfie camera is great too with nice depth of field. Sadly, Samsung reserves its flagship image/video processing for FE-series and above. *Pixel 7a wins!*
There's honestly not much difference between the two camera's, Samsung now has 4k stabilisation. They both have decent camera's I'm happy enough with my a54 which is a far better phone than my pervious redmi note 12 pro. I got my a54 for £270 which is a bargain it's far cheaper than the pixel 7a. the super amoled display is far better than pixel.
I've seen some comparisons between the 7 and 7a. There are a few improvements over the 7. But overall, the Pixel 7 takes much better photos for about $60 more. A better screen, better IP rating. The glass back isn't a feature. I'll be in a case anyway, because glass breaks. The 7a should be $40-50 cheaper. Maybe even a slightly slower G2 CPU. As it stands, it competes with the 7. The A54 is a sometimes cheaper. But it's a much larger phone. But it's cameras are not up to 7a quality. Id like to see Android do things like iphone to help cover that ugly selfie notch/ camera thingy. Another reason I liked the 4 over the 5.
@@kunjchauhan7745I double checked. The website that had a comparison grid had that omitted. So they were not up to date. The 7a does have NFC. I will update my post.
@@kunjchauhan7745 I agree, the notch is ugly. Remember the rage on various Android makers that rush to make their own notch phones? Apple uses that space for the IR camera which is used for facial recognition. Almost no Android phones use such a camera. The pixel 4 does, I never use mine. Without the IR camera, facial recognition is not secure enough. Fingerprint works fine for most people I guess. Apparently there isn't a normal setting in Android to hide the punch. Just make the notification bar black or do the island effects like iPhone 14 would be nice. But it does look like some third party apps Will do such a thing. Sigh The punch used on the Pixel 5 is in the corner which was very much a no-go for me. (Same for the 4a). One thing I hope the pixel 7 has, is using the proximity sensor to keep the phone from doing crazy stuff when it's in a pocket. So sick of my phone's flashlight being turned on or a RUclips video being started by itself.
I don't understand why the Pixel 7a struggles so much with the grass and the foliage when recording videos, the quality is so poor for a smartphone series famous for their good camera capabilities. I wonder if there were updates to fix it.
''The best mid-range smartphone of the current year is a high-end one dating back 1-2 years''. The Pixel 7a is clearly a much better smartphone than the A54, and, the Pixel 7a (in 2-3 months when it will be around $350-$400) and also the Poco F5 will be real thorns in Samsung's feet, and without lying, I'm really happy, Samsung has to stop giving a fuck about people. A54 is supposed to be photo-video centered but is actually not really the best in photo, average in video, a processor, screen borders worthy of a low-end smartphone of 2005 without forgetting this silver strapping around the selfie that is so cheap 🤦🏽♂️ I would never have believed that one day I would recommend the mid-range of Google (7a) against that of Samsung (A54), but especially Xiaomi (Poco F5 Pro) 🤦🏽♂️ And the thing is that next year, the 7a and the Pixel 8 (which will have lost at least $200-$250 on its price), will become the default recommendations. Xiaomi but especially Samsung did not realize it, but Google is gradually winning the game. However, at $500 for the 7a, the Pixel 7 is a better buy, but surely in 3-4 months when it will be around $350, there the 7a will be a very good deal in North America and Europe, but not necessarily elsewhere with competitors like the OnePlus 11r or Motorola X40 which in many markets costs $500. Ps: on the other hand, the increase in the price of the Pixel 7a does not announce anything good regarding the price of the upcoming Pixels 8 / 8 Pro.
Note: new software update for the A54, now stabilization on 4K is ON.
Is it good?
Man was up all night making this so you should all destroy the like button my Gs

Camera Assistant is coming to A series in near future so atleast oversharpness issue will be fixed.
why do you have so few subscribers? it needs to be a million subscribers channel, you shoot very high quality videos, im always your support man!
Appreciate the support always 🙏🏿
Pixel overall slaps
4K video stabilization goes to the Pixel 7a hands down. Thank you Benjamin for these side by side comparisons 🔥🔥🔥🔥
A54 has stabilisation in 4K mode with the latest update
lmaoo L
There's something wrong with 7a's main cam in 4k video. Stabilization is so jittery.
Very nice camera comparison love from 🇮🇳 India
great video! greetings from Bolivia!
Great video😊! i refer pixel 7a, but what do you think ? PIXEL 7A or GALAXY S23, in camera/video/selfie which is the winner
S23 most likely
Thank you so much😉

VIdeo A54, Photo Pixel 7a in general
You have a very chad face my guy. The video was No BS! Thanks for not wasting people's time like some other people do.
Thanks for watching 😃
Awesome comparison!
Thanks 😊
What is max youtube resolution on 7a and a54? Can you go with 1440p or 2160p?
Pixel 7a is 2160p for RUclips
Pixel 7a is ao good for the relatively modest outlay. Everything it does it does it incredibly well.
Cracking video as always mate 💪
Thanks for watching Dave
the design is shit

7a doesn't have NFC?
Lol the iPhone notch is ugly, the punch hole looks much better

2.27 does samsung a54 has stabilization on 4k 30 fps? I thought a54 has stabilization only for 1080
New update. Now it does in 4k 30 too.
1:58 pixel 7a

Video algorithm seems to be done to avoid noise and like Pixel 7 one but Pixel 7 has a bigger sensor
A54 super natural
Samsung 4k 30 on stabilizer
A54 is better👍
Thanks from paris
Audio... stabilisation... respect de couleur... Google.. plus de détails Samsung.. thanks
Samsung no doubt
The pixel video definitely looks better but the a54 is no slouch
colors on a54 look too washed out

Thorns in feet? Ouch... 🤕
None of them. If you want the best camera, you should buy Sony!
