6-71 Detroit Diesel working in a ‘69 White 9000 dump truck

Getting a load of gravel from the local pit to bring home. Pretty steep hill coming out of the quarry and also once getting on main road. Please excuse the terrible grinding when going to high range. The synchro is plain worn out and grinds badly no matter how I try and cheat it. I’ll be replacing that while I have the transmission out to replace the clutch.
