It's insane, because Diamond Head influenced Metallica and now Saxon with Tatler sounds like Metallica because Metallica sounds like Diamond Head and so on...
Come on, the vocal melodies and the epicness are 100% classic Saxon, but the riffs...the begining could be creeping death. And I say it in a good way, as I said Diamond Head invented Metallica haha. So it's normal that Tatler sounds like Tatler.
Of all the nwobhm bands, Lars is on the Saxon 'HMT The Movie' citing them as his favourite band of that era, their second ever show was opening for Saxon, at 'The Whiskey' so they were a big influence on Metallica...check out Seek and destroy'....pure 'Princess of the night' in parts......
