  • The original song is about three years old at this point, so I decided to come back and give this awesome moment from the AU the track it deserves.

I don't think it sounds quite as chaotic as the original, but overall it's a really nice touch-up. Especially the end it sounds creepy as hell.

      1. It sounds more like undyne is taking this battle even more seriously, which makes sense given the situation.
      2. Lets assume that there'll be a playable version of the determinator's fight, if it exists, then it would make sense that this version of the battle theme exists because the player might not be struggling as much as frisk did in canon IF, so using the original chaotic version wouldnt make sense if the player is doing well or is even doing a no-hit.

@@dylanzlol7293 Why would you want to dampen the intensity that's not a good reason.

@@TheAdvertisement im thinking about it like, the intensity is dampened because of how the player plays, like, if you were fighting her while doing a no-hit and no-death run, the final phase wouldnt feel as intense as it would to be on your last life and nearly out of items, it wouldnt feel intense given that you need to die 5 times in total before frisk loses. So, in my opinion, the battle should feel more dynamic: if you've died a lot and/or are (nearly) out of items, the original tense version of the song plays/starts playing because frisk is starting to feel despair in that they might die for good this time, but if you are good enough at the game, the updated version of this theme because frisk isnt feeling THAT scared, and therefore, the battle theme adjusts itself into the updated battle theme which doesnt sound very intense, but it still fits the situation because undyne is fighting seriously.

meh its definently a very, very good song but id say the originial is better. the original sounds more chaotic and you can really hear that undyne is in a state of death
