The ending teaser to what many happen next. So by the looks of it asriel is going to do it again. So frisk, chara, and Lilac would need to make it through the void to get to asriel to stop her for repeating the cycle.

I really like how Spamton was integrated into the Inverted Fate universe without feeling contrived. Rather than being a shoehorned Deltarune reference, he's yet another byproduct of Papyrus' wacky science shenanigans. Instead of a Darkner, he's a self-aware adware program which Papyrus downloaded into a robot body. Perfect.
Does this make him Flowey/Asriel's stepbrother? And Papyrus Asriel's stepmum?
Wouldn't that mean that it's still spamton, but inside a lighter robot body? Even if he's not a darkner, in deltarume he is still himself in light world just in form of spam emails,

Spamton really just barged into inverted fate and decided to take their stay. Such a [Big Shot] move. And it makes sense in the AU's canon too.
Lots of really funny moments, an awesome fight, Lilac not being "another Noelle" and whatever the heck that was in the ending.

_This_ is what I look for in Spamton. Egotistical, hilarious, off-putting and bat[$@!$] insane, all in perfect harmony. And when you throw Papyrus’s tech into that mix? You come out with [[liquid gold]].
So stoked that the Hotland ‘bots have been able to share the spotlight for this segment, too! The Papybot joining the fight in particular was completely unexpected, as well as a bizarrely wholesome payoff to the gag. And by god, the _coolness gun actually getting used!_ Now _that’s_ a true reference [For The Fans]!
And then we have Lilac, Frisk and Chara. I really respect how you’ve written Frisk’s reaction to her reappearance. Broken friendships don’t get repaired overnight, and that’s very clear here. But at the same time, Frisk tries to do what’s right, still standing up for Lilac against Spamton and co. They’re not heartless; they’re just dealing with some very complex feelings.
I was hyped for our favorite salesman’s debut, no doubt. But I’m finding myself just as curious to finally see how this reunion will ultimately play out. Well, _outside_ the line of fire, of course ^_^;
Question is, judging by the after-credits scene… how long will this moment of solace even last?
It's amazing how one second can give me so much goosebumps. That postcredits scene where that thing on top of the building expands just makes me wait for the next one even more!
I decided to watch this one on the 'big screen', which was nice for a bit, but quickly had a side effect of making it even harder to tell what was going on. Can't wait for MTT to come down there for inventory and
(a: just shoo him out, b: have a big fight or c: reluctantly make a deal [he is trying to be more empathetic, isn't he?]).
A cast of robots had been expected for a while, but you all went above and beyond in what all the tech could mean. This really was a moment for them to shine, and further additions like the Pipez and Coolness Ray only made it more interesting (You know what, scratch that - more interesting and much more terrifying, some of Spamton's uses for Paptech were perfectly uncanny. I wouldn't be surprised if something from it worked into a nightmare).
Lilac's a little different than expected, but that doesn't diminish the most hyped event since meeting at the barrier. Nov 26 is looking exciting!
Edit: Come to think of it, this arc has started to remind me of a game I've been playing recently. I'll omit the name to avoid spoilers for anyone who reads this, but its villain cares about the overall story, and 'writes' dangers to force the protagonist to participate. Both them and Asriel leave items as well, and with what's coming next I wouldn't be surprised if the plots became even more alike. I wonder who considered the idea first?

Just one question… If Lilac entered the Underground through the Barrier (after it was destroyed, of course), and went through New Home and the CORE, how did Asriel not see her? Wouldn’t he, like, screw with a human if he saw one?

@@ShadowSouled69 She didn't fall. She entered through New Home/the barrier side of the mountain. So she climbed higher and ignored the hole that leads into the ruins.
I knew things would get so crazy when Spamton appeared. The battle was so interesting and it's nice that Chara can use some spells. Also Lilac seems like an interesting character, I'm glad we've finally got to see her. I'm just worried about what Asriel did at the end with the surface. I guess we'll see.

That is most likely Asriel's doing. He probably did it so they could survive anything more easily. Asriel is trying to use power as a bargaining chip. I worry if he goes too far. Chara could become like they do at the end of the genocide route. Thinking their only goal is power and will try to destroy the timeline to move onto the next.
Alt me: If that happens then I am going to go into that timeline, stop Chara (try to not kill them), then M A K E H I M P A Y F O R H I S A C T I O N S . =)
@@josephconover5270 I think Asriel's plan is something more than just destroying this timeline and move on to the next. I believe he gathered so much power that he'd be able to do that already. I guess one of the things he really wants is to create a "perfect world" for him and Chara to live in and he also wants to convince Chara to join him. I can't wait for the conclusion of this epic au.

They won't. Other than Robert, who was mostly a joke for the name, it's just Spamton. The only other Deltarune cameos in IF are monsters.

It's really more a reference to the fountain in the hotel originally having a different statue and then Spamton vandalized it.
Thank God we got Paps again, or at least a new version of him, he's my favorite character and I was so sad when he sacrificed himself in Angels Promise. Hopefully the others are ok as well

The Spamton battle was a ride. As expected.
And an exceptionally good ride, to say the least.
Lilac appeared, and she was amazing.
I liked Robot 100 a lot...
But... what I REALLY have to talk about are the postcredits.

So, it seems that Asriel was very confused by Spamton... and also slightly irritated, because of the fountain... but otherwise, he kind of doesn't care. Okay.
But...
WHAT was that flash at the end.
That made me jump.
I'm so excited for what this AU has in store for the entirety of the final arc.
And now that Spamton appeared... well, I think we'll be back to some more Asriel stuff, which is good. Since he's my favourite IF character.
Overall: Spamton was amazing.
But those postcredits really got me hyped.
My thoughts : Inverted Fate went from being my favorite AU to being my least favorite real quick

Also even if you're not enjoying the direction, it shouldn't immediatly be your least favorite AU. Even if something goes wrong, every other arc has been amazing.
And just being worried about an arc shouldn't make it your least favorite, even if you don't enjoy a part of a story you shouldn't hate the rest.

@@RIP2UALL Yeah, two weeks 'til the next update. As a pro tip: generally don't skip credits in the video chapters. All but the first trial video, the short phone call before the Undyne fight, and the MTT performance in a later chapter have at least something during/after the credits. When you get to a loading screen in part 59, don't skip it- there's an interactive terminal w/ important lore and stuff.

Lilac has nothing to do with any monster characters. She existed in IF's old timeline, too. Frisk's backstory was the same there.
considering that we now have spamton, who is kind of a "creepy doll" and the world after asriel is kind of "post-apocalyptic future", that means that the time egg is *probably* gonna be a very important part of the story. im probably high on meth right now.
the time egg was a reference to chrono trigger i highly doubt it's gonna have any sort of actual importance
also i think the surface right now is more apocalyptic rather than post-apocalyptic

Wait, actually, dorked I’m confused. When asriel absorbed everyone besides all robots (including blooky and riverperson) were spared. Obviously mew mew and mettaton (probably the amalgamates too) were absorbed since they’re ghosts in robot shells. However… if the ghosts were absorbed then what happened to their shells? Are they just… lying their now? At the EX.barrier entrance?
They were absorbed with the monsters inhabiting them.
